In case someone bought into the "Playoffs are different" talk from the Celtics camp, here was exhibit A of why suboptimal play in the regular season typically translates into suboptimal game in the playoffs.

So, that's it? That's what the C's called "turn the switch on"? Wow... wake up C's, this is a very dangerous time.

yessir...i can see wade and miami getting on a run here real soon and the celtics being down 10 plus at the half. i dont like the celtics performance at all so far.

Perkins did NOT travel on his move....that was ALL Bavetta anticipating a travel---Perk kept his left foot as his PIVOT foot---I'm Tivo-ing this, and watching on a slight delay.....grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Well, we look just like we did for the 2nd half of the season.  Slow big men, extreme difficulties finishing close to the basket, Ray/Pierce struggling to turn the corner, sloppy turnovers.

Fortunately Miami's pretty bad.  Jermaine O'Neal as a featured offensive weapon is good news for us.

Looking like the C's of the last half of the year so far.  Not able to dominate defensively as I hoped they would.  But, it's early. No one has gotten going yet. Someone will catch fire eventually.

Players actually have to rest during a game, you know.

The only big who can truly get above the rim, is Shelden Williams! and he never plays!

the dunk is the highest percentage shot in basketball, and yet the best 2 of the best 3 dunkers on the team dont see any action (Tony Allen, Nate Robinson, Shelden Williams)

(at least KG has a credible reason, as to why he doesn't finish at the rim with a dunk any more)

We need Shelden on the Floor

  • It's not hard to work hard.
I like the shots we're getting- those two Ray 3's are ones we want him to take. It's just turnovers and getting the shots to fall. Rebounding is obviously an issue and you don't want the Heat scoring 30 points in a quarter, but as far as the offense goes I think it's creating the right chances. Not the ugly jump shots we've seen so often.

FU steven tyler.

another long long stretch with no points and no offense at all. Defense is just slow

lets get back to the pierce post up, kg post up and pass to cutters or perk of the doubles...ray should be able to get some open looks there

We seemed to have an offensive strategy in the first quarter doing that, but Glenn must have ADD.
