I didn't watch the game so I don't even know if he was there on the bench. But according to the Recap on ESPN.com

"Celtics backup G Tony Allen was sick and missed the game"

Is he still afraid to go and play in Chicago? Are the Chicago thugs still hunting him? What gives? Is he NOT supposed to play in Chicago? Did anyone watch the game and if so did was he on the bench?

Good eye. But he played the last game @ Chicago this season, so I'm not sure what gives. I'm sure he would've been more effective than Marquis "I can't even catch a ball anymore" Daniels.

TA was sick, so he couldn't play. TNT mentioned it a couple of times during the game; I didn't even see the pre-game show and for all I know they mentioned it then too. He pretty much was in last year's playoff series against Chicago, apart from the fact he stunk last year. What's the big deal? I mean, am I now supposed to believe more or less a conspiracy theory?

Apparently he didn't even make the trip and stayed home with a 103 degree temperature and the flu, per CSNNE.

Lousy Boston media covering the Celtics...

Undetected?  It was mentioned a number of times.

Actually if you watch the games on csnne, I don't know if you watched it on TNT or Bulls Comast channel, but you would have heard Greg Dickerson say this about 4-5 times had you watched it on csnne.

It didn't go undetected ... they talked about it more than once, and it was on the web site.

I watched the TNT feed last night. I figured Tony's "sickness" was merely code for "doesn't want to get shot".

I have no reason to believe is isn't sick.  Hope he is staying away from his teammates and hope they all had their flu shots.  My understanding is you can still get the flu even with the shot but the symptoms and duration should be milder. Not good timing for a flu to go around the team.  But very good timing for Tony to start visiting his friends in Cleveland.
