I would be ecstatic if david beats goliath!

But if Bynum is back, all the Lakers have to do is keep pounding the Thunder in the paint in the half court. Very few teams can handle the bigs rotation trio of Gasol, Bynum and Odom.  :-\

I don't care about the Lakers, I just want Cleveland to go down badly.

Jeff Green's a big liability for the Thunder in this series unless he's hitting 3s at a high rate.  Odom and Gasol are far too big and talented for him to handle on the boards or the post.

I wonder if the Lakers are going to guard Westbrook with Kobe, a la Rondo and put Fisher on the non-scoring Sefalosha.  For all the great games he's had this year, Westbrook is still a below-average shooter (42% from the field, Rondo-esque from 3) and a very inefficient scorer overall.

Durant will get his.  If the Lakers can just keep Westbrook from destroying them and creating open looks for the likes of Krstic, Green and Harden, and then punish Green/Krstic/Collison with Pau/Odom/Bynum they should be sitting pretty.

I don't see it happening. Don't get me wrong, I am the biggest Laker hater out there, but they are a veteran team that has been through the wars before and this is the Thunder's first crack at the playoffs. I can't wait to watch Durant and Artest go at it - that should be one heck of a matchup.

I do think this series may get extended to 6 games due to Kobe being banged up with his cracked finger on his shooting hand, his bum knee and ankle. If Kobe continues to have poor shooting nights like he's had in the past few weeks, the Lakers are certainly vunerable. However, if he decides to become Kobe the facilitator and feed the others like Gasol, Odom, Artest, and Brown - while still taking over in crunch time....then I think the Lakers win handily. As a matter of fact, they may even make it to the Finals again - which unfortunately will be unbearable for me to watch so I'll just turn the channel to the Sox games  :-[

The Thunder are dangerous. I wouldn't be surprised if they shocked LA, or at least took them 6 or 7 games.

Only way OKC has a chance (to me) is to run off their defense and slash into the paint in the half-court. Jumpshots will kill them.

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
They'll take 2 games.

Only way they win is if Durant plays like the second coming of Jordan.
