HI guys, I'm still on vacation through Monday night.  I may have internet access for another few hours tonight but no guarantee I'll be able to get back on line again until Tuesday some time.

Is there anyway we can get the team selections wrapped up by tonight so I can at least get my first (and second if necessary) pick in?

I will take the Celtics as 33 took the West. I hope I don't jinx them.

If I understand the seedings, that gives me Philadelphia.  I am going to try to beat you, RR.  That said, GO CELTICS!!!

Someone let me know if I have my position wrong...

As the higher seed, GreenFaith1819 gets to pick the team in your series, so the only way we could wrap up tonight is if he wants to make a choice between OKC and the winner of LAL/DEN.

The only other thing would be if you want to make conditional picks, (say two players from each of those three teams), then you'd be covered no matter what choice GF makes, (list them in order of preference).

I PM'd GF, but Slam gave me conditional picks anyway, so we can keep moving ahead.

** For those who may be confused by how I list the results, this is how it's broken down: **

team abbreviation   -   player's name (picked for that game)   :   that player's 2011-2012 scoring average   /   that player's points total for that game   =   that day's net score above/below player's average   /   that day's net margin over/under competitor's net score   //   net gain/loss of all games played to that point (all net scores added together)   /   net margin over/under competitor's net gain/loss to that point (this is used as a tie-breaker)    (win/loss record to that point)

Example:

CHI  -  Michael Jordan :  30.5 / 42 =  +11.5 / +4.3  //  +2.7 / +6.3  (2/1)

Hope this helps!

** Please send me a PM if you notice any discrepancies or errors. Leaders are marked in red, ties are marked in purple - in case of a tie, the total points difference decides the winner. Missing your pick will result in a score five points less than that of your opponent's. **

** BDM860 and Edgar are still alive, as their series gets very close, (tied 3/3, +/-6.6), and the Clippers fail to put the Grizzlies away, (now going back to Memphis for a deciding game seven). This may complicate the next round just slightly, though we've had to do the provisional thing before. Pretty exciting first round of PAPOUG this year! **  :)

Ok so LAC/MEM Game 7 is scheduled for 1p on Sunday, and MIA/IND is scheduled to start on 3:30pm Sunday.

With the winner between Edgar and I at 1pm, having to pick a team and player for the next game at 3:30pm (and our opponent Redz having to wait to know what team he has and which player he can pick till we pick...).  Somehow I don't think that's going to work.  :D

So what's the solution?  All 3 of us make conditional picks on the MIA/IND series ahead of time, with Redz possibly making two picks if me and Edgar pick different teams?

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

sounds about right

Or we could just call game 1 a tie.
