Just realized Indy doesn't play tomorrow.. I'll pick tomorrow night!
You can make your picks anytime ... you don't have to wait until the day of your game, but you can if you want.

I often wait until right before each game, as injuries and roster changes usually are reported at the last minute.

But you can also change your pick anytime you want, as long as it's before tip-off, of course.

I actually had someone give me all their picks at once, and they won their series, so it all still comes down to luck, for the most part.

The points leader usually gets eliminated early, too, so don't expect me to be around for long.

It's fun racking them up, and I try to beat my previous season's totals, (or averages, when the season is short like last year), but this is one game where points and seeding has very little affect on anything.

We're all just rolling the dice, really, as nobody knows who will have a good score on any given night.

The much anticipated Nazr vs Evans matchup right away for game 1.  Why delay the excitement?   ;)

that was my original plan but I might hold on to him a while longer.  Green and PP are the only real scoring threats on the C's to go over their averages.  Green's spent ([dang] good time for him too I must admit) but I've still got Smith and Melo in my reserve.

If you picked Copeland and he scored 0... then if you pick Melo, he'll also score 0 >:)

If only I had that kind of power over the Knicks, I'd be sure to jinx their high scorers at just the right game

** For those who may be confused by how I list the results, this is how it's broken down: **

team abbreviation   -   player's name (picked for that game)   :   that player's 2012-2013 scoring average   /   that player's points total for that game   =   that day's net score above/below player's average   /   that day's net margin over/under competitor's net score   //   net gain/loss of all games played to that point (all net scores added together)   /   net margin over/under competitor's net gain/loss to that point (this is used as a tie-breaker)    (win/loss record to that point)

Example:

CHI  -  Michael Jordan :  30.5 / 42 =  +11.5 / +4.3  //  +2.7 / +6.3  (2/1)

Hope this helps!

** Please send me a PM if you notice any discrepancies or errors. Leaders are marked in red, ties are marked in purple - in case of a tie, the total points difference decides the winner. Missing your pick or a DNP will result in a zero score, or five points less than that of your opponent's, whichever is greater. **
