Upcoming Round-Four Picks:

** Playing with the Heat was so much easier when Bosh was injured.  I'm scared about tonight, I only have one good pick left, but I don't think LeBron has that killer instinct to put OKC away tonight.  I'm glad you already played Durant, because I expect big things for him tonight. **

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

With the Norris Cole pick, I was picking with my heart.  Not wanting the Heat or LeBron to show up, and this thing to go back to OKC.

Even though my heart is going with NOT picking Lebron, my head is saying to pick LeBron.  Thinking about it all day, watching the pre-game, I gotta go with my head on this one.

Officially switching my pick.

Going with LeBron 27.1 for the win.

Gutsy move, BDM ... so far the risky picks have paid off. Great series to this point, but I hope it goes to seven ... best of luck, guys!

** For those who may be confused by how I list the results, this is how it's broken down: **

team abbreviation   -   player's name (picked for that game)   :   that player's 2011-2012 scoring average   /   that player's points total for that game   =   that day's net score above/below player's average   /   that day's net margin over/under competitor's net score   //   net gain/loss of all games played to that point (all net scores added together)   /   net margin over/under competitor's net gain/loss to that point (this is used as a tie-breaker)    (win/loss record to that point)

Example:

CHI  -  Michael Jordan :  30.5 / 42 =  +11.5 / +4.3  //  +2.7 / +6.3  (2/1)

Hope this helps!

** Please send me a PM if you notice any discrepancies or errors. Leaders are marked in red, ties are marked in purple - in case of a tie, the total points difference decides the winner. Missing your pick will result in a zero score or a score five points less than that of your opponent's, whichever is greater. **

** A huge congratulations and TP to our 2012 CelticsBlog PAPOUG Champion, BDM860, for winning the Finals series 3/2, +12.2, (can we get him and TZT some extra TPs? Thanks in advance for your help), and a very sincere thank you and TP to our Championship Runner-Up, 33-00-32, for his excellent regular and post-season performance ... see you both next fall for PAPOUG 2012-2013, and we hope to see you both in the PAPTBG over the summer. Thanks for everything, guys, and thanks to all those who participated and helped out this year ... it was easily the most successful season yet! Have a great off-season, and go Celtics! **

BDM would have had me with Cole or LeBum. If I had only gone Westbrook then Durant things could have been different. Nice job BDM and congrats!! TP to you and to Bahku and TBoots for all their work with this. I'll be back :D

Congrats to BDM and TPs for both of the finalists and, of course,  Bahku (nice work throughout the season, keep it up!) too.

Only five more months...  ;)

Good game 33-00-32, you had me sweating things out over here, this was definitely neck and neck.  And same to Rebus, Redz, and Edgar who allowed me to be luckier than them in previous rounds (especially Edgar who was up 3-2 then missed his next 2 picks, couldn't have done it without you  ;))

Oh well, I'm already the villain riding the Heat to victory in 3 straight rounds, and using LeBron to seal the deal.  Might as well completely sell out and embrace it  ;D

Congrats BDM!  Nicely done.

Copious amounts of TPs paid out to BDM and the runner up 33-00-32

(and a carpal tunnel inducing amount of TP clicks to Bahku as well  ;D )

** We're now only two players short of a full compliment for the playoffs, (as MVP has accepted) ... this is first come, first serve, as we have very little time to start picking teams, so if anyone wants to play, please reply me ASAP. I'll get the Big Board up as soon as possible and start filling it in as players for the first games are picked, (picks are due by tip-off time of your respective games). Players who have committed to the playoffs are in red ... you can let me know of your intent for the post-season via post today or a PM. Final seedings correspond with the standings below, except for the final two spots, which will depend on their points for the season, whoever accepts. **
