Underrated part of the playoffs for me is that all the games will be in HD. Can't really complain too much when you consider the Celtics have been on national tv for about 1/3 of their games, though.

I certainly agree with that. All the Celts road games that were not on Nat. TV were only in low def on Dish Network. When I complained to Dish, they blamed Comcast.

I think the first round matchup potential for the Der and Denver would be pretty awesome.  The Nugs are downright pitiful on the road, and will probably be without Karl.  They are also playing .500 ball in the last 10 games.  And they are 9-7 without Karl.  This could be an early upset in the making.  Someone earlier mentioned how the Nuggets have the Der's number, but both teams have won their home games this year.  We will get a preview this week though as I think they play on the 7th.

tonight I'll be rooting for:

T-Wolves win over San Antonio
OKC win over Blazers

Bucks win over Hawks

I'd like to see the C's catch the Hawks and/or possibly face Milwaukee. And then I really want San Antonio or Portland to face LA in round 1. That should give LA trouble...... plus I want the Thunder to run up against Denver or Dallas.

Go Wolves! Go Bucks! Go Thunder!

Same here, MR. October. I want a Spurs vs. Lakers 1st round matchup and I don't really want a Thunder/Dallas matchup since I like those 2 teams. So hopefully the Spurs get knocked down to 8th and the Thunder can climb to 6th.

I really want to watch OKC vs. LA in the first round. I think the Thunder would speed their game up to another level against them.
True Celtic = Leon Powe

Bring back the show!!!!

If Bynum is back in time, OKC will just be too small... and will get abused in the post.

However if Bynum misses the first round, this could indeed be a fun match up.

Spurs vs Lakers and the Spurs knock off the defending champs as an 8th seed.

If that were to happen I would be soooooo happy.

Where did you learn to read other people's minds?

I would personally love to see a Celts/Heat first round match-up. I love watching D-Wade play and think we match pretty well with them (especially Perk always giving O'Neal fits.)

I'd pick the Celts but think it could go 7 games and be a fun 7 games at that!

I would love to see the bobcats or the bulls vs the cavs. Both teams can give the cavs a good fight in the first round. I really think this year we will get an easier first round matchup than the 1 or 2 seeds.

Well, Charlotte can't fall to the 8 seed so you might as well remove the Bobcats from this discussion.  Why do you think Chicago would give the Cavs a good series?

Now that we know OKC will play the Lakers lets hope Bynum doesn't make it back for this series. It would make for a more evenly matched series where the Thunder just might take them to 7games.

seeding for the West 8th seed already decided but I would have wanted to see SA vs LA. I truly believe that SA had the very best chance to upset LA with or without Bynum. Manu has been explosive and the Parker/Hill combo would wreck havoc.
I really hate to see OKC vs LA. we all know the outcome, fun games but we ALL know the outcome.

The bad thing about SA being a 7th seed is that they literally can mess up the rest of the seedings - 2/7 and 3/6. They can beat Dallas, Portland or Denver in a 7 game series. Somehow, though I don't have enough confidence in the 4/5 series winner - either Phoenix or Utah to beat LA in a 7 game series. I bet OKC wishes they had beaten GS on Sunday.

They'd give them a better one that Toronto!

Chicago can be a feisty bunch and a headache.  Toronto is neither.

Completely agree here.  Toronto would be a guaranteed sweep for the Cavs.  Although I think the Cavs with the slimmed down Shaq can sweep Chicago as well
