did anyone hear the comment made by the abc commentators about pierce getting a ridiculous continuation call after being fouled and making the little floater?? I mean he got fouled, took a step, and threw up a floater and it went in. And these sorry excuses for commentators are complaining about how it shouldn't have been continuation... Ummm? have they ever seen the continuation calls that lebron gets? you know the ones where he gets fouled dribbling, takes three steps, and then lays it up when everyone is standing around? I just found it to be quite ironic. idk what do you guys think?
everyone got so sensitive after 9-11... thanks alot bin laden

Good point, Billz.
Lebron always seems to get the benefit of the doubt and/or passes on calls.
What irks me is when the commentators get names of players and points made wrong in the midst of the game, or when they start talking about everything BUT the game and I can't hear the calls because of their chitter chatter.

that is why i hate watching anything but comcast lol. I got my main dudes Mike nd Tommy, good play by play that keeps me into the game versus the wayyy off-topic stories that van gundy and marc jackson and everyone else tell that bores me to death and i cant pay attention to the game. that and also the sound effects they make when lebron/kobe/durant/etc make a three or big shot( "bang!!!", "Lebron James WITH NO REGARD FOR HUMAN LIFE!!!" to name a few.)
everyone got so sensitive after 9-11... thanks alot bin laden

Agreed, love Tommy too. It's interesting to listen to his non-verbal language - the moans and gasps when he's upset or downright angry at the refs. It seems Tommy and Mikey are trying to promote their team, not themselves, which I find 'real'.

Oh absolutely ironic. Standard MO from the major networks. Hate on the Celtics, lavish untold praise on the Messiah and the Mamba.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

The major networks do not hate the Celtics.  The Celtics get a ton of praise from the majors (as they should - they're a good team).

I agree, the Networks generally respect the C's.  The problem is, they respect their mealtickets (Lebron, Wade, Kobe, etc.) more.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

The Celtics ARE a meal ticket.

For me, this kind of thing falls into the lunatic conspiracy file. Along with "Stern wants CLE - LA in the finals" and "Stern wants Oden in NYC" and so on and so forth.

Agree 100%...It'll be interesting to see how much respect the Cavs get once the Queen bolts for the bright lights and the broadway.

They are, but not as big as Lebron or Kobe.  So the C's get the treatment in most games, but if they are playing those teams, then the annoucers go with the more popular guys.
