We have been loosing because of a lack of defensive intensity. Tony is capable of handling the point with Ray and/or Finley. No probs there. Only problem with TA and Marquis is the lack of shooting. Having bigger guards on the floor give us all kind of advantages on match-ups and with Tony you don't loose anything except shooting.

Wanted a 6'8" winger to guard LeBron; but TA can be huge on defense against Kobe, Vince C, Crawford, Johnson. Was disappointed with the Finley signing because of lack of D - perhaps Tony can make up for this.

We have been loosing because of a lack of defensive intensity.
Our problems have been on the offensive end.

We scored what, 5 points, in the first 6 minutes of the fourth quarter?  We defend well enough to win just about any game. Its our offensive that comes apart, which then leads to fast breaks against us.

I actually don't mind Tony being the backup point.  The only problems that I saw with him playing the point in the past, was his turnovers. If he doesn't turn it over, he does fine as the backup point.  And so far this season, he hasn't been a turnover machine.

But, what did we trade for Nate for?  And why does Doc have him playing like Eddie House, just shooting 3s?  What  happened to the slasher I saw in NY?  I think I'd rather see Nate (if we could get the Nate the played in NY) instead of Finley. Nate can shoot 3s, but he is a slasher and he has a mid range game too, but all he does is shoot 3s. >:(

I'm all for gettting Tony Allen more minutes, and like Bankshot said, if he's not turning it over there is no reason for him not to be out there.  He does a lot of good things for the team.
I'd say at this point that Daniels has been a HUGE dissapointment for us.  I was very excited when we signed him and I expected him to have a significant role.  Unfortunately he seems to have a Rasheed Wallace type motor.

Now this kinda makes me mad. Nate was brought into Boston to be able to bring a punch off the bench. Now we bring him in. He has some games where he shows he can do that and some that he just doesn't look good. But all we have him doing is shooting 3's. I can't stand that. Nate has more of an offensive game then that. Let him drive to the rim and all of that jazz. I really hope he just doesn't get punished for whats going on. Its like we thought he was going to be Eddie house from downtown, where he is a better slasher and player with the ball in his hands then just shooting 3's.

What does this have to do with us? He's been playing the same way even since he had that 17 ppg season.
