I stay keep with tradition - if you're going to go alternate, go retro:

I would never want to see them wear the first one.  Black as the main color just doesn't do it for me.  Especially for the Celtics.

The old classic roadies I would love to see come back as their alternate replacing their current alternates.

I vastly prefer green for our away jerseys. The black just doesn't look good to me. I do like that we keep it simple and not go alternate-happy like some other teams have been doing.
The St. Paddy's one I like because the players usually match the gold trim  with cool sneakers. I appreciate the novelty though so I wouldn't want that to become a regular uni. I love the retro ones. For some reason they look better on almost everyone than the others. I think its because the shorts are a little longer. I wouldn't mind seeing them more often.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

I would also say go retro to the degree of disregarding the names on the back. How's that for differentiation  ;D

DL and I have discussed those retro jerseys in the past.  I still don't understand why those aren't their official road jerseys or why you can't buy them with current players names on the back.  They wore them only a few times a few seasons ago and then seemed to retire them.  But there's is truly not a more beautiful celtics jersey in my opinion:

That one has my vote.  Has a Bill Russell feel to it.

Yep, these retro jerseys are absolutely awesome! Too bad the C's never wear them.

I like the idea of the black ones but I don't like the result (the black and the green don't mix well, plus Boston is Green and White, and that's it).

8 jerseys worn by the Cavs this year? That's ridiculous.

absurd...i love the mark price, craig ehlo, brad daugherty era jerseys

I like this one:

I always think of Terrell Brandon when I see those unis.

Ha, i actually have that jersey with Brandon on the back.  I wear it a lot when i play haha.  No one ever knows who it is.

I might even go as far as saying that I prefer it to our current alternate jersey's. Whats wrong with having 4? The Cavs have at least five I think.

I concur. The black jerseys are intimidating.

I always thought we looked kind of badass in these:

Something about the darker green and black trim gives us a "bad guy" kind of feel.  I like it.

For sure! The alternates give a modern day bad boy celtics look. But the one Pierce is rocking (similar to the one we rocked in LA during the finals) is by far my favorite. That should be our official road gear

After last night's game, I've changed my mind and I would love to see some of our players (say, 3 of them) wear this alternate jersey :

I like the green road jerseys with the black trim, but black with green trim doesn't look right.
