I would love to eat my words guys.  I bleed green and will cheer for this team regardless.  I was at our training camp when M.L. Carr was our coach when they held it at UNC-Greensboro.  I am a true fan.

And no, I am NOT basing this on one game.  I think I can base it on about the last 47 games to be exact.  That is a pretty large sample size to extrapolate from, right?  There is a clear pattern here that we all love to avoid, and I understand why.  I avoided it for a LONG time as well.  We do NOT have the passion, hunger, and intimidation factor that we had the last two years.  This cannot be turned on like a light switch and we all know that to be true.  We hope that it won't be, but all statistical probabilities say that it is highly unlikely.

Like I said, how would gladly eat my words.

I usually go by the comments on the other team's board to decide whether I am seeing the calls through green colored glasses.  If both sides are complaining about the refs, then the officiating is bad but not biased toward one team or the other.  Tonight, the OKC fans were talking about sending a thank you note to the refs and commenting on how all the bad calls went their way.   So even the Thunder fans saw how one sided the officiating was tonight.

The NBA is very fast losing credibility.  Time for Stern to go.

And, sadly, this is what our season boils down to. Sad but true.

Well i respect that. It's just that tonight's game would have been a really horrible sample size and guys tend to overreact to these type of losses.
However you clearly don't seem to be basing it off this outrageous ripoff... so TP!
I'm not all too optimistic either but with this team i simply can't figure out what to expect.

KG dropping the F bomb on live tv during the presser.

"Thought we were playing Michael f-bombing Jordan the way the calls were going for Durant. He took more foul shots than our whole team." - KG

  • GOT IT!!!
I hope you guys aren't down after the game tonight. The Thunder are [dang] good and are an offensive machine. It didn't help that the zebras straight sucked either.

why is it that we always lose these close games to good teams due to poor officiating???? i mean there were numerous times where we took it to the hole, got fouled, and the refs didnt blow a whistle... but then on the other hand some1 sneezes near durant and its a foul... and to quote what KG just said "It felt like we were playin f**kin Jordan out there with all the dam calls he was gettin." i dont think i could have said it any better myself. and this hasnt just happened a few times this year, it happens about once a week... it gets really frustrating trying to watch these types of games.
everyone got so sensitive after 9-11... thanks alot bin laden

I can certainly understand the angst about the refs..seems like they have had it in for us in several games this year.

My thing is this: If they are dirty, then it will come back on them..

The last thing the NBA needs is to have David Stern sitting before Congress.

That wouldn't be good at all.

David Stern in front of Congress? I'd love it. Get him the hell away from my NBA.

I believe we are entering the situation people thought might happen when we assembled the "Big Three" together 3 years ago. People thought that three stars couldnt work together but they have proved everybody wrong through the first season, however, that is all they can count for.

They won the first season simply because nobody knew what to expect and they were fresh. Today is another story. Boston Celtics is all about Rajon Rondo and nobody can really question that statement as it is true! When Boston needs a spark they look for Rondo. The other players seem to have lost it. I am extremely dissatisfied with the situation. I expect MUCH MORE from the Big FOUR (Rasheed included!) and no excuse that Oklahoma is a hot team.

I really expect Mr. Ainge dipping SERIOUSLY into the free agent market this summer to acquire players serious enough to make Boston more threat next season than they are this season. If it means breaking up the "Big Four" I really dont care. I just want players who really have the desire to win for Boston.

Depressing sh*t this is...... :'(
