If you want to send a message to Sheed, start Scal when Perk is out.

Our front line of, KG, Sheed, Baby, and Shelden(somewhat)

has gotten out-played by Matt Bonner and Dajuan Blair.

Unbelievable. It would be nice to be able to throw a guy like Sean Williams out there in a game against teams with front lines like (McDyess, Blair, Bonner,) he would block their shots just like everybody does Baby. He would provide high energy and lots of athleticism,,, but oh well, thats not happening, so I guess I gotta just accept this front line continually getting out played by Bonners and Blairs.

(yes, i know perkins is out, but we still have KG, Sheed, Baby, Shelden...and Duncan barely did anything out there for the spurs, and has spent a lot of time on the bench.so its hard to even use that Perk was out excuse, b/c duncan was essentially out, based off of his performance tonight)

No, start a real player, Shelden, not Scal the stiff.

Sorry, but this is embarrassing. 24 points in the second half. But I hope the fans don't boo because it might hurt the Celtics' feelings.
I'm not worried about their feelings. You guys are totally missing the point. The crowd has been silent all night. Even the announcers mentioned it. The crowd is timid and very, very easily annoyed with a bad stretch. They go into silent mode rightaway, and hardly make themselves heard when there's controversial calls.

I really think our crowd has been bad for a while. Not blaming the loss on it, not saying they shouldn't get their money bag for todays effort.

Just saying they're a horrible home crowd and I would never boo a team I love.

But that's just me.

  • GOT IT!!!
Our worse game of the last two month. I hope this is just one off and not something that will take us back.

I feel the same way. Things don't get any easier next week either.

Need to get back on track against a feisty Thunder team. It won't be easy.

Might have something to do with how poorly the team has played at home this year. I have attended about 20 games and the fans have now started to expect second half collapses. Just sayin'

no offense to anyone here, but i couldn't boo my home team...i would leave or stew, but not boo

i sure could after this tonight. they aren't college kids. this is their jobs. they get paid more money that we can imagine to work 3 hours a day playing a game. it isnt too much to ask them to  at least try. i could see if this was the first time getting blown out at home...but this is another bad, uninspired effort at home.

They're more than just feisty. They're [dang] good. C's could lose that game.

This could end up being the third 20-point loss at home this season.

Well, as bad as this game has been, we've had a really good stretch up til now.

I still Believe.

We've got OKC soon..we'll get back on track.

We've turned it up a notch the last couple of weeks I think. Doesn't mean that we won't have some hiccups here and there.

Tonight was a Hiccup. Plain and simple. It will go away.

Momma always told me that you grow when you hiccup. Celtics will grow from this.

It's just one game. Sure the lack of effort tonight is upsetting, but overall I'm happy with the C's of late.

Let's be realistic.  Doc might be willing to start Scal at center, but not Shelden.

Same. I love these chaps. I might be weird, but I consider myself a fan, and in thus I cheer for my team. I go to a game to cheer them on, not just for "a night out". I'm quite a competitive man, and I'll get angry for losses like this, but I'm not going to boo my own team.

In fact, I think it sits right up there with calling the Celtics "Them" when they lose and "We" when we win.

We lose, We win.

And when we do, I'm embarrassed. Not booing.

Are you assuming a win vs. OKC?
