Gonna be a blowout.  Wow.

Well, at least the Spurs are starting to look like they might be able to win a series or two in the West.

Well, not over yet..

Sure it is.  I've watched this movie many times this season, I know how it ends, and I don't like it.  The acting is pretty bad and the directing is sub-par to say the least.

Still third qtr, Man..

So it's over just like Game 4 of the 2007-2008 finals, huh?

Lucky shot by Ginobli, but this has to be the worst Celtics' effort in awhile. Other than Shelden, the rest of the team has been worse than awful.

Ohh, nice shot by Ginobili!

It was like everybody else stopped playing and Manu kept going full speed just to get a closer for his end of the quarter hail mary heave. Excellent effort from Manu.

You should've seen the game thread for the first half of Game 5 against Cleveland.  We might as well have called it a season then, we were cooked.  Some of the same folks from there here now.

been a long season. this team plays far below their abilities. and i dont expect you to agree with me. i could say the sky is blue and you would have some sort of smart comment.
I agree that we're playing far below our abilities.

Wow.

You're really defeated by the way we play, aren't you?

  • You say when......
Shelden's played well this game..
TP there, i think he keeps getting better, more confident, if only doc would keep playing him, run a play for him now and then....! vHe can dunk anytime...unlike BBD....( BBD means Block Baby's Dunk...)

i would think trying to avoid the cavs for as long as possible would motivate this team.

Why try to avoid the Cavs for as long as possible?  If only winning a title matters and all other outcomes are relatively equal when compared to that, I'd rather play the Cavs in the first round when the Celtics are most likely to be healthy and fresh rather than the conference finals, when they might be tired and have developed nagging injuries from playing bruising playoff basketball for two rounds.

Where they look slack to me is on the other end. If rondo isnt slicing and dicing, they seem to go flat. Not enough cuts, dont swing the ball. Too much of Paul dribbling Ray into a crowd.

ps +1/TP to everyone re rotations, Sheldon and timeouts. Pops is having Docs lunch.

Glen Davis has been awful tonight, Shelden Williams has been outstanding. But, as soon as Perk is healthy Shelden will disappear again.
