After the last two games, I didn't expect a disappearing act from Rondo.

Let's hope he'll be back come Q3.

Where would the Celtics be if they had signed McDyess instead of Sheed?

Not sure; I don't think McDyess has been that great for them, either.

Agreed. So far both additions have played out as a zero-sum game.

True.  But as Hubie pointed out earlier in the quarter when Sheed posted up Bonner, when Sheed is in the post, he can command a double team?  How many teams have a backup 4/5 you can say that about?  There's some teams in the league who don't have a starting 4/5 you can say that about.

Granted, he hasn't played all that well during the regular season.  However, in both the case of Sheed and Dice, neither the Celtics nor the Spurs got each player for the regular season.

I think this is the real Celtics, guys.

When the C's can't hit their 3's, they aren't close to being a great team.  They can't reliably get inside shots and they're a very poor rebounding team.  They lack an interior scoring presence and their outside shooters go through stretches where they can't get decent shots.  The C's have to hope for hot shooting to have big games against good teams.

I disagree.
I honestly don't see much aggression tonight. We can beat any team if we're aggressive enough, there's just not much in the way of energy tonight.
