I was going to say that "post scorers don't beat Boston" but then I saw that Kendrick Perkins is still out.

Hmm, the Celtics still got a lot of excellent post defense with Rasheed Wallace, Kevin Garnett and Glen Davis though. I don't think any player has caused Duncan as many problems throughout his career as Wallace has. Sheed and the Blazers were the first team to consistently make Duncan's life miserable and that continued on through to Detroit. They have had many great battles with Sheed doing well defensively against Duncan. So even without Perkins in the lineup, the Celtics should still have more than enough post defense to contain Tim Duncan.

Ergo, San Antonio will have to dominate elsewhere in order to get a win against Boston. Likely the backcourt with George Hill and Manu Ginobili or on the backboards with Blair, Dice & Co.

No Tony Parker? I'd like to beat a team that's healthy for once.

PS. I finally found in the options menu the quick reply and how to turn off notifications on posts while I'm typing mine. Took me three years, but whatever haha
Hahaha, and you call yourself 1337? :D I found after like what, 1 year and a half? ;)

WOW, I didn't even know this option was available! I just clicked it in my profile, thanks a lot guys, TP's for you, this will clearly save me some time (and some frustration) when I'm posting on the game threads. :)

Yea, I remember during the playoffs it was such a pain. Took me like 10 minutes to post one thing.

I wish this was an afternoon game so I could watch it live. Games against the Spurs are my favorite ones of the season. Hope its a good one and we keep the home momentum going. Keeping Manu, Blair and Bonner under wraps should help. TP FLCF. Go Celtics! (and Pacers and Nuggets and Raptors)!

thanks again flcelticsfan for another beautiful game thread.

celtics are playing yet another superior team in this stretch of games. so far, the celtics are looking much improved over their mediocre stretch.

celtics should win tonight as they gear up for a run to #18. :)
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.
