I didn't realize that TP for sharing. Amazing how this group continues to set both individual and team records considering how many great players the franchise has in the history books.
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

Congratulations to the Boston Celtics for winning the NBA Atlantic Division Title for the third year in-a-row. Rajon Rondo also set a franchise record for steals in a season, had a personal high of 18 assists in a game, and Paul Pierce set a new record for all-time free-throws made. The second half of this game wasn't pretty, but the boys got it done and we'll take the win. Next up: San Antonio ... without Perk. Go Celtics!

That, is horrible:

Too bad the Celtics don't hold up division banners.

We won't have enough room to hang them all. Plus, we don't have a player with an ego bigger than his head that we need to please. ;)

What's to stop angry Raptor's fans from taking them if we did that?

Did we suddenly become the Cleveland Cavaliers or Toronto Raptors where we are a team and fan base that cares about division titles?

It's okay and all, and I'm not trying to be a downer here, but....so what!!

Can anyone off the top of their heads even tell me how many division titles this team has won? How about conference titles? Now let me know how many World titles we have won!

Ahhhh, getting the picture.

The Montreal Canadians, the New York Yankees, the Los Angeles Lakers and the Boston Celtics are teams unconcerned with division titles. For obvious reasons.

I could probably come up with COnference titles pretty quickly, since unlike the Lakers, we tend to win it all when we reach the Finals.  This is, of course, due to the fact that Celtics have never had to play the Celtics in the Finals.
Yup

The answer is 8.

They won 12 Eastern Division titles before 1971 at which point expansion occurred and divisions within conferences began
