I feel like the Jazz brand of "physical" basketball is a lot of fouls assuming the ref can't call everything. Especially when they are at home and every call that is made against them gets booed.

It'd be cool if we had a center who could hit threes ::)

rimshot  ;D

I'm sorry..I'd still take Perkins over Okur or Bargnani.

Dwight or Shaq would shred both of these guys. Not Perk.

He meant Sheed... I know its been a long day.

Jazz earned those calls in the second half. They were - in a word - awesome.

Perk had nothing to do with that statement.  That was a complete shot at Sheed.

  • Let's Go Celtics!
If the C's lose like this to the Nuggets and the Cavs this week then there won't be any question that they are a solid step below the best teams in the league.

We played well tonight, IMO... we just got beat. It happens. But I def liked our energy tonight.

I'll call this one the Okur show..he was the one who hurt us. Deron didn't shoot particularly well..Boozer played well, but that's it.

Certainly would've been nice to have this one, but we'll show up for Denver.

Pierce didn't play well?

Shockingly the 1st thing that comes to mind when I remember that game from last season was how brutal the officiating was. Even by Bavetta's standards it was bad. And I hear tonight wasn't the great either.

Jazz earned those calls in the second half. They were - in a word - awesome.

They earned the ones after the run they made which gave them confidence. In the first 5 minutes of the 2nd half the refs were in full "make up for our crappy calls on the home team" mode.

Edit: Not to say that the Jazz didnt deserve to win this game. It's just that if you go through this thread, you will see that everyone here saw alot of make up calls coming in the 2nd half...which they got.

My bad mahonedog88..I mis-read your quote.

Did Sheed really look that bad this game?

I think The Refs "earned" them.

Rondo's 3rd & 4th fouls were turning points. He lost control a bit and then the team was rudderless.

The bench wasn't quite there for us, either.

This team goes as Rondo goes. I'm not too thrilled about that fact.
