This thought is giving me nightmares... I believe it was exactly at this point where KG got hurt last year at Utah.

No negative thoughts.

I've got some negative thoughts about that night.  Weren't the Jazz fans cheering when KG got hurt?

I don't remember, I've honestly blocked that infamous night out completely. A psychotherapist could put me under hypnosis. but those memories are buried DEEP.

what memories? I have no idea of what you speak!

Was a bad, angry night.

Thought Ray made a few poor plays with his behind the back dribble in traffic and driving before he dribbled. Rondo went on tilt a little bit it seemed. I've never seen him more mad at a ref before.

I think Deron's physical play is getting into Rondo's head a little bit.

Might be. Deron is areally tough matchup for Rondo. He might have taken this defensive assignment personally and is getting frustrated in the way he is being called. He cant really complain though given the way the refs have called Utah's frontcourt.

Dang...not gonna count.

The Jazz really rallied in the last couple of minutes.  Gotta be ready to go in the 2nd cause there's a decent chance we've got a few BS calls coming our way.

I feel that coming so hard. That's what's making me apprehensive about this game -- it has the potential to devolve into a dithering mess of incompetent refereeing.
Yeah TP to both of you. I said the same thing earlier. I like our chances with the energy level right now. This is a great team were playing right now and I havent felt that they have had control for one minute of the game.

Except for the lull at the end, I'm definitely really happy with our energy and execution though.  If we can play like that in the 2nd half it shouldn't matter what the refs do.

I guess I understand now why Rondo keeps saying he likes to keep an even keel demeanor on the court. When he's emotional like he is today, he's really unpredictable... and perhaps not for the better.

Dang, man. : (

Here's a TP for your troubles. But don't worry, we're playing the Jazz well, but to me this game starts in the 3rd.

Ouch, you're missing a good one. Second half should be even better!

I'll leave it to the rest of you to bring the guys home, I'm not gonna make the second half.  I REALLY hope you enjoy it!   ;D

  • It's not hard to work hard.
What's up with Quis lately? In this stretch seems like he's been playing kinda poorly.

I honestly think the reffing could be a net negative for us. We deserve to be winning this game, but the calls we're getting are firing up the Jazz.
McHale's favorite ruse is putting paper in the mouths of sleeping teammates. "Try using one of these cocktail napkins," he said. "When just the edge sticks out of a guy's mouth, it looks like he's got fangs. The best part is when he wakes up."
