Extremely great win tonight, the Houston/Dallas back to back is never easy and we beat both in convincing fashion.

The big 3 didn't look old tonight, even though they were playing back to back games.....

KG was solid and moving smoothly on D (Loved his pressure on Dirk), Ray was being Ray & The Truth was just superb.....

I honestly believe we've hit our straps, perfect timing as we walk into the playoffs.

Underdogs maybe, but I guarantee if we play like that, no one will want to meet us in the playoffs.

Game Time!

Just keep it up, C's! One game at a time..continue playing the staple defense..tighten up the offense...

Wondering, if they've turned a corner and are back for sure for a long run, how much credit does Doc get for pulling this team together, keeping minutes down, and getting these guys healthy and into what looks like a solid rotation right now?

True. It's been a very impressive run these past few games. Lovely.

Color me very impressed tonight. Was fortunate enough to get home from my daughter's musical and catch the fourth quarter. Coming back from a 7-point deficit and winning going away was extremely impressive. Even more impressive was the defense in the fourth quarter. Other than a couple of mixups where they left Dirk and Terry open, they played a smothering type of defense. This is certainly the best game I have seen them play in a long time. The way Rondo took over the game in the fourth quarter was incredible. Still don't think there is a championship in them, but if they play like this they will make it interesting.

Just stay healthy, and keep building.

The 2nd unit is an actual unit now, and the starters are getting their legs.  Gotta like it.

Just keep showing us!

Really happy to see them playing competitively.
Yup

I guess the credit should be proportional to the blame for when things weren't going so well.

As for the solidity of the rotation, I'm still not a fan.  The 5 man bench has been getting killed.  Nate's obviously nowhere near comfortable and hasn't been worked in as the featured scorer, they have huge problems feeding the post, and they are a terrible rebounding unit.  We won in spite of that line-up.

I'm hoping that Doc starts to phase out that unit as much as possible going forward.  I understand it must be tough as he's working 2 brand new guys into the system.

Yo with Pierce playing like the Truth, KG on defense, Ray stroking from 3, Rondo thieving and passing the rock, Perk swatting down shots....our bench playing just well enough not to phuck things up......

.....we're golden.

Such a realist view. Color me green but when things weren't going well this team was injured and rehabbing and off balance due to changed roles and rolling out Eddie and Bill Walker instead of Nate and Michael Finley.

Doc was sure this team would be better when healthy and playing within their roles. He seems to have been about the only guy who thought that. I give him credit for taking a lot of crap during an adverse season, sticking to his guns and doing it his way. If he wins it all, i think he should get a pass around here for many years to come.

Nope.

It's impossible.

There's no way that you can dominate for two months when healthy.

Then get beat up by injuries for two months and do poorly.

Then get healthy and do well.

Just impossible...

Some positive trends lately but they still have a ways to go regarding playing consistently for stretches now that the main rotation is fully healthy. But there's lots to be optimistic about - the best being Sheed isn't leading the league in techs (he's actually in 3rd place behind Perk but I'll ignore that for now). If that's not a great sign anything is possible I don't know what is  ;D

I am as happy as the next guy about their recent performance, but it has only been a couple of games. I hope you are right and the ship is completely righted, but you might be getting a little ahead of yourself.

I agree.  I'm not guaranteeing #18.

All I'm saying is that in professional sports, seasons are very, very long.  Teams can go hot and cold.  Considering the C's went cold when the got hit by injuries, I was just shocked so many people jump ship.

They still may lose in the second round.  I'm not saying otherwise.  My only contention two months ago is the same thing it is now: it's way too early to make conclusive judgments about this team.
