I missed the deadline for playoff and season ticket renewal, but the Celtics bugged me three times on email and I finally decided to re-up for my 11th year. It is a lot of money, so I hope they decide moving forward to be less bored and more interested in what they are doing. And then, I will be extremely interested in Danny's moves in the offseason.

Great! I hope they don't disappoint you (and the rest of us). :)

If you were willing to sit through the last eleven seasons, I can guarantee you that next season will not be the worst you have seen.

I don't want there to be any excuse for Celtic ownership to get cheap this summer. You have done your part as a fan to ensure they should spend if the opportunity to improve this team presents itself.  For that sir, you have earned my gratitude and a TP.
“Being a Celtic is, every decision you make is about the team. Every cut you make is about the team. Every pass you make is about the team. You take yourself out of it. It’s not for everyone. If you don’t want to win, don’t want to play team basketball, and it’s more about you then you’re probably not a Celtic." Doc 2010

Hey Vin! I admire your loyalty, TP. However, given Wyc's reluctance to take on salary at the deadline to try to get this team over the hump this year, and at least keep the window open until KG's contract is up after 2 more seasons, I truly DO NOT think that it's a given that he will spend the full MLE. For all of our sakes, I hope he does, but I don't think it's a certainty that he'll spend any of it.

That's the truth!

Good for you vinnie. And as a bit of an insurance policy,  if they start to upset you again next year and you want to sell off a block at face value, PM me. I'm a glutton for punishment. :D

I bet the C's will be very willing to spend the full MLE on the right player. Remember that Ray's $$ is gonna drop big time this summer. Either he leaves / is sign and traded / or comes back at a much smaller salary.

Maybe an Al Harrington or Mike Miller falls into the MLE range. You never know. It just depends on how wacky things get at the top of the free agent bonanza.

Considering that they are paid on average millions of dollars a year for about 40 hours of playing time--you'd hope they could stave off the boredom while out there on the court!

I don't like the rule that you have to commit to season tickets for next year in order to keep your seats for the playoffs this year. I don't like it at all.

After having season tickets two of the past three years I've decided to forgo season tickets another year. Just too much money for a kid still paying off his student loan  :-\
