Save me the time of writing it, get a TP. i was thinking the same thing about the thread length. But remember, it's not the length that counts, it's what you do with it.

Another fun game at home....and 3 straight home game with a double digit win.

I wasn't too happy with some of the TO's and the inconsistency by the bench...but I guess that can be overseen by KG + Pierce's great night.

Great to see KG and Pierce playing like that...esp KG !!

And the icing on the cake was Atl losing....now hopefully we can go on this road trip and get a few quality wins.

GO C's !!

Shortest game thread ever?  Still a fun game.  Feeling good going into the road trip.  Cheers all!

Cheers.  I guess everyone else is out at the bars.  With an infant in the other room, I can't quite do that.  Ahhhh, well....

TA is a funny guy. Get the rebounds 9sec remaining, put the ball on the floor and leaves. It would've been an 8sec violation if it wasn't for Finley quick thinking.

Very good game. It pulls us even to the Hawks and Johnson is injured. We could make a move. Every game counts. This was a good taking care of business win.

I give Lee credit for hustling to the end with a crappy team.  didn't like the cheap shot on Ray though

Me either the 2008 team won't have let that go. Posey, PJ Brown or KG would have lowered the boom on that guy. Baby needs to go and pull his thumb.
yeah, and make them a better team just like CLE ;)

Please Doc, give Shelden more minutes.  Soft hands (according to Tommy), can finish around the hoop, gets defensive rebounds, gets to the foul line, and doesn't fall on his butt half of the plays.  Go shelden!

Funny though -- if you look back to early in the year when Shelden was getting minutes, folks here were all over his lack of hands and the tenuous nature with which he caught passes in the paint and secured rebounds. Not saying I was among the complainers (I wasn't), but I guarantee if he got Baby minutes now, there would be complaints.

Yeah, but Doc needs to play them off against each other the way he did with Powe.  You'll get more out of both guys if you play them off against each other.

To be fair to all involved, Shelden played well in BBD's absence but a couple of weeks before Baby came back Williams game was starting to fall back to the norm and he started looking not so great. BBD is just a better overall player and should be playing but Shelden is excellent in his role as 5th big. Every time he is needed he comes up big. Great role player fulfilling his role.

Regarding his recent outstanding garbage time play, he was playing against the bench of the defensively inept Detroit Pistons and New York Knicks. Of course he looks like he should suddenly get all sorts of playing time but he shouldn't. He just is not good enough to displace the four guys in front of him.

But I love him in his role and feel confident that if he does need to be called upon, he will play great.

That was a head scratcher. Made me look back fondly on the days when Gabe was here to handle the dribbling out the clock duties  ;D

Well that makes one of us.

My only complaint about the game was the lack of effort and execution by the Cs down the stretch.  Don't want to see them get lazy again... but I'll take the W.
