I believe that this team hinges on rebounding and turnovers. Last night they did not turn the ball over a lot and crashed the boards. I feel the Celtics can beat anytime when they take care of those two factors, like they did last night. Recently they have been improving in those areas which will net us wins against every team in the league.

In both of the last 2 years they significantly decreased their turnovers in the playoffs.
TP for giving me another reason to be optimistic, I did not know this.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Celts are 2-4 since this thread started with seven games left. I think 7 wins total in the last 13 will now be a stretch. I would say 6 tops. UGH.  6-7 in the alst 13 is no way to be heading into the playoffs

Agreed Vinnie. I have pretty much given up on this team at this point, "in terms of":

1. Who they are as a team? They win when you don't expect it, lose when they shouldn't. They act cute and lose games, then they come out snarling and crush people. They're like Cybil
(Spelling..)

2. Trying to understand Doc's rotations, the reasons for them. I'd think you'd be shortening your rotation right now.  Instead I see a bigger revolving door than during training camp.

3. I figured we'd be trying to put a stanglehold on the 3rd seed right now so we don't have to face Milwaukee  in the 1st round or Atlanta possibly with them having homecourt. I don't know, that would make sense to me.

Instead I see Doc with cute little lineups: Shelden, Baby, Finley, TAllen and Rondo. What is that? Neither Rondo ro TA can shoot, Finley is slow and Baby and Shelden are kind of the same. We've lost three games in a row AT HOME, DOWN THE STRETCH, and Doc is acting like the mad scientist over on the sidlines concocting moronic lineups.

Maybe I am just a moron and Doc is a genius and therefore I cannot understand it. I don't understand what is so difficult about deciding on the lineups for Doc. I really don't.

1. You play Nate with TA and have either Pierce or Finley at SF for more shooting. And play Nate consistently.

We could argue about Doc's lineups all day, the real problem to me is that these guys think they're champions but they're not, they are very mediocre. They have a huge ego problem as well which is probably part of the reason they get no calls, they refs are probably disgusted by them.

I love Rondo, he plays like a magician. The problem is he tries to act like one too with the peroettes and placing the ball on the floor. Looks flashy Rondo, but you LOST THE GAME. Not sure if you notice that.

This team, en masse, could just use a massive dose of "just shut up and play no frills, hard nosed, focused basketball". I see alot of other teams doing this "to us". I see us prancing around like a bunch of idiots who "think" they are a good basketball team, with a coach who "thinks" he's a genius in an environment where everyone involved "thinks" they are going to win in the playoffs.

Again, I havent' given up on the team. But I have defiantely given up on having any idea who they are. That, is very frustarating as a fan.
