I obviously don't watch the cavs every day.

But from what I've seen from the Cavs when they play the Celtics or whenever they're on national tv, I don't think I've ever seen a game where Lebron is in foul trouble.  It's quite frustrating.

The refs really do give him more star treatment then I think any other player in the league.

I'm not even talking about today.  I mean like...ever.  In his career.  I don't really remember his rookie year and whether or not he got the rookie treatment or the star treatment.

However though, it wouldn't surprise me one bit if I found out he hasn't been in legitimate foul trouble in a game in over 3 years.

gonna have to say no here. He averages 1.6 fouls per game. How does that happen when a guy as physical as he is and plays like 40 mins just barreling around the floor. I don't know what to say...the nba officiating is what it is and you just gotta play through it and know you aren't gonna get any calls on the road, especially when you're in the King's house.

Lebron averages 1.6 pfs a game.

Even Kobe averages 2.6 (so does Pierce)

Either Lebron doesnt play any defense or he gets favored...what do you think?

I agree, can't remember a game where he has ever been in serious foul trouble or got more than 3 called on him, especially in the past couple season,he hardly get more than 2 called per game. This is one of my pet peeve's with officiating, the difference in the treatment of foul calling.tp

Maybe he has learned to avoid stupid mistakes "a la Perkins. Maybe he is so good. I dont remember Bird fouling out of any game either. Some guys are better players than others. "There is little equity in The Lord's gifts" - Cormac MCarthy.

Look at the numbers I posted. He averages 1.6 fouls a game playing nearly 40 minutes.

He would have to be avoiding defense altogether to not get called for more than that at the SF position.

He's God's gift, he doesn't commit fouls, (just ask him ... or some others on this board). ;)

I mean the guy is a great player but the way he is called is a travesty IMO. I understand him getting calls on the offensive end but defensively they have to be objective.

I get frustrated aswell when he doesn't get called for obvious fouls but the other part of being out of foul trouble is, would you try to go one-on-one against one of the fastest and strongest players the world has ever seen?
what doesn't kill you makes you stronger

I dont see players backing down to Lebron offensively. Hes not an elite defender yet. Yes he get a lot of chase down blocks but he gets beaten off the dribble frequently.

Edit: Sorry It's too soon after that game to havethis debate. You have a good point but Im too mad to see it your way right now.
