I really wouldn't mind losing to the Cavs if the refs called it fairly....the Queen and her minions get the call every time...wherease the Queen can commit any sort of foul and go scot free.

I would like that last 'foul' against the Cavs to be played on a continuous loop so that every single whiner like this can see that Pierce gets a ton of calls as well.  He just lowered his shoulder, charged Jamison, traveled, and somehow that was a foul on Jamison.

I gotta agree. The refs have had ZERO impact on this game today.

all things considered, we're still in the game.
McHale's favorite ruse is putting paper in the mouths of sleeping teammates. "Try using one of these cocktail napkins," he said. "When just the edge sticks out of a guy's mouth, it looks like he's got fangs. The best part is when he wakes up."

I know. For some odd reason I am feeling very optimistic about the 2nd half.
"The emblem of a warrior, it's the swagger of an athlete, a champion and dynasty, it's gifted, golden, genuine and glorious. It is a lower-case god. It's the goat. The greatest of all time. What's G? It is the heart, hustle and soul of the game."

The fact is that supserstars get calls and it happens for every team.  People who blame the refs are kidding themselves.  Teams win and lose games not the refs

Can't even be compared to the amount of calls LeBron gets. Impossible.

Can't believe Pierce actually got a favorable call. :o The refs never give Paul anything nowadays.

Are you telling me that Pierce and the Queen get the same treatment from the refs?? Really? I guess, I'm not a witness.

Lucky for Celtics, Cavs have missed 9ft's. Still a close game. Rondo should speed up the game. Cavs don't the foot speed to guard Rondo.

From a Cleveland perspective, the Cavs are winning which is great.  What is better for the Cavs is that the Cavs are winning at the half and Lebron only had to take 4 shots.

Lebron, at home, against Boston?  I think a 30 point second half is coming.

Celts 0-6 from three-ville. LeBrons are 5-12. There is your differential. Not to mention that the Cavs are sticking them under pressure, are playing loose. The C's, oth are missing Wide Open Uncontested Shots. Tight like that.

I think Varejao is the only player I would wish a career ending injury on.
I love Varejao's game. He is one of my favourite players in the league today.

Really?!?
Does all the dirty work. Excellent defense + very good rebounding. Plays within himself offensively and is a good finisher around the rim. The consummate teammate. The perfect role player.

"Dirty work" ... interesting phrasing. Sorry, but that much flopping should not be rewarded, and he LIVES off it. Most of his success comes from that and LeBron, and while he does position himself well, when you're that size, it's not too difficult ... and while he's a good rebounder, I personally think he's far from the "perfect role player" and I just do not respect the crap he gets away with. If he was on a team without James, he'd be rarely heard from, IMVHO.

You can say a lot of things, but the Celts didn't quit--they're in this game. Energy is absolutely there, even when execution wasn't always there.
