Filthiest dunk ever

Not a 360 dunk. He caught that thing with his back to the basket. I hate when they try and make more of it than it is. It was nice without pretending it was a 360. The man has serious hops. We need that athleticism on our squad.

And if you look at the "720" it's more of a 1.25 revolutions. He's starting to turn before he takes off so his back is almost to the basket, then he actually dunks from the other side of the hoops than the side from which he took off, saving himself 180 degrees right there. Still super impressive, of course.

Who's the dude from a 70's Suns team that like literally climbed over a dude's shoulders to dunk? His head ended up well above the rim, I think.

Old school? Of course. Dr J invented the filthy dunk. It's on youtube, a rock the cradle, one-hand, windmill, foul line takeoff over Michael Cooper in the 82 Finals. I know, it's hard te believe that a dunk almost 30 years ago could be the best.

This year?  I was a fan of Delonte over Tracy McGrady.  Delonte has some incredible ups.  Wish I had a video.

And since the Cavs still haven't won anything yet, and they obviously ended up losing this series to a better team, this is my all time favorite Cavs dunk:

I remember Sleepy Floyd making an alley-oop pass from midcourt (and this was not even in transition) to Vernon Maxwell back in the early 90's. I haven't been able to find a clip, which is sad because it's a huge play and a beautiful dunk.

What was cool about that dunk (the video doesn't show it, but I remember from watching the game) is that Varejao was equally impressed with Wade as we all are. It's the type of thing that could make a player upset, but kudos to sideshowbob for appreciating it for what it was.
