in all fairness to Davis---The refs were letting them play against Washington--he was fouled several times underneath (McGee got away with A LOT).

Also, over the past 2 seasons-when he gets the ball, his teammates seem to run away from him--someone needs to run towards him, so he has an option to pass---he ends up taking bad shots, cause he has no option left.

I've noticed that he just does not seem happy on this team--I don't know if he's still bothered by the way his contract was handled last summer---or maybe he thinks his playoff run should have made him a starter...or cause he didn't get that movie roll---he just does not look like he's happy to be here.

Actually, both him and Perk look miserable--Sheed effect?

Looking at this thread and the member that started it, it leads to one question,

Which fruit will help Davis more, Apples or Oranges?

Prunes to make him pass the extra weight.

Seriously, I don't have any quibbles over Baby's play. He can't help being a short, slow big man who plays to the best of his ability.
The beatings will continue until morale improves

I would love to know how many points per possession the Celtics score from Glen Davis' offensive rebounds.

Exactamente. Sure appears to be a lot less than two, but I'm sure someone has the exact stat. And it would be interesting to compare it to a league average, if such a stat is kept.

And another, off topic, stat that would be interesting is the same points per possesion for every time Perk touches the ball on offense. It's getting ridiculous- I cringe every time someone passes to him.

I think he heard about this post before last night's game, because I recall several instances in the post where he made a spin move and jumped to shoot.. then passed mid-air.  It seemed rather fruitless, but at least he passed.

Hopefully Doc, amongst his other changes he needs to make, stops going to Davis in an ISO play in the post.  There were a few plays where they did a pick and pop to get Davis a wide open jumper at the FT line... and while they weren't falling, I'm confident they will.  Still, I'd like to see Shelden get at least a few minutes.

MMM, that crow is YUMMO!  I'm enjoying it very much.
What a great game Baby played last night. He and Nate were out there having fun and playing their butts off. And Rasheed too, the man can really play when he's motivated.

He's eating Lamar Odom alive out there.

If Bynum can't go BBD's play off the bench could really swing the series.

He was taking Odom's lunch in game 3 too.  I must say I was shocked that Odom can't defend Baby.  Odom is what? 6'10"?
