During the Detroit Game, Lebron came down on someone's foot and twisted his own ankle. He tried to walk right but limped off the floor and was out for a few minutes PRIOR to Stuckey passing out.

(Here is to wishing Rodney Stuckey a full recovery).

If not for the significant rest time due to the medical evacuation of Rodney Stuckey, the King would have been held out of more game minutes. He eventually got back in and played, but then was held out of the next night's game for rest purposes.

I'm certain he is healthy enough to still play. BUT twisted ankles do not heal quickly either and the man was visibly limping off the floor. This will effect his season this year as he continues to elevate or cut and put for strain on the tendon.

I'm surprised it hasn't already been mentione in the forum...

I guess the injury bug doesn't just sit on the Celtics shoulders.

He sat out Saturday and it looks like he might miss tonight, but it doesn't seem too serious.  More like one of those "if this was the playoffs he's play" scenarios.

Quote
"I may sit him next game," Brown said. "We'll have to see. But I've definitely thought about it, and it's something I'll make a decision on come Monday."
Yup

Yeah I'm guessing almost every player, every year has to go through some ankle issue. It's the most common injury in basketball and is almost unavoidable when you play 82+ games a year.

Ray Allen's double ankle surgery from two years ago was a result of years and years of playing on sprains.

Rondo has ankle trouble at some point every year too.

It's not a big issue and I dont think it will effect Bron too much, unless there was some real damage done. Well see on Thursday!

"Sam Cassell was heckling on the sideline when I walked down, He looked at me and was like, ‘You're getting the ball, I know you're getting the ball!'
said Allen.

And did Cassell, a man of many words, have anything to say after that?

"No, I told him he needed to wear a tie."

People on Steroids heal quicker than those not on Steroids.

So true Spilling Green Dye, Lebron and Dwight Howard are clearly on steroids or HGH.  I think we should get pierce and KG going on the juice if everybody else is doing it.

Jamison got hurt in tonight's game... looks like the injury bug has finally left Boston and found it's residence in Cleveland.

Not very serious. He will most likely play on Friday. It also helps that they don't have any other game untill then.

Not very serious. He will most likely play on Friday. It also helps that they don't have any other game untill then.

He had some knee stiffness.  It has happened a couple times this year.  He should be fine by Friday.

The Cavs won last night without Shaq, Lebron, Z and Jamison (for almost the entire second half).

They were playing Delonte West, Mo Williams, Jawad Williams, JJ Hickson and Varejao in the fourth quarter.  They played very well together.
