Phil Jackson calls Gasol "Weak and Sickly" after Lakers-Bobcats game.....

Doc needs to learn to hold the vets more accountable. Mainly Rasheed and his effort. Sometimes even Pierce needs to be told to sit when he is banged up. Doc gives the veterans to much slack sometimes.

SOMETIMES.....?   Had doc, ever called someone out, no, he just diverges the blame after the 3rd quarter collapses in a major loss....what has he ever really done...?  It is KG who calls someone out, makes them accountable, remember BBD, why was he crying.....KG, doc is a sort of general manager here, generally speaking, he also draws up really effective last minute or needed instant plays, ....often.....but his style is showing now, look at where he had the team, in the same place in january 2 years in a row...that is COACHING, he had plenty of talent and reserves, look at walker now, getting minutes, getting the ball, getting plays called for him...like a real TEAM member, like i said b4, doc is like a 1950 coach,,,,"Okay rookie, you're gonna sit the bench...until you can PROVE you can play..."  "okay coach ( because that is impossible!), how can you prove you can play in a real game, when you never really get in, and get a real team play, passes, looks ect. His record is the same, the year we won, with that team you couldn't lose, won the east like a beast, well PP. ray and KG were in their prime, rondo was coming on, perk was strong and almost consistant, good D, and LEON and PJ fixed all the rest.!!!!! now that he has to manage, read his players, direct and control them, look at the big picture vs the small one, develop rookies at least for traded bait early in the season....protect aging players for the playoff run...he did none of that, he doesn't forsee anything, he just tries to patch a leak when it springs up..good for a pickup type coach, but not NBA quality on the CELTICS......maybe the clippers, or Memphis.....

Just because said rookies aren't doing well in practice, doesn't mean they deserve playing time.

If you draft someone, they deserve playing time, in my opinion, at least in the first half of the season. That way you can see what you got, and prove that your opinion was on. It WAS these guys who drafted them, no one made them do it.....play them, showcase them, use them or trade them, at least improve your options...!

When you draft someone, you are using your experience and expertise as the person in that position, if you then never play them, what does that say about your abilities, or choices..?
