Just gotta throw this out there. Those of you wishing injuries on other teams players are pretty pathetic. Especially who ever it was who wanted LeBron to tear his ACL. You would have to be a complete dumb ass to ever wish that on someone. I tore mine out (along with my MCL and meniscus) over 2 years ago playing basketball and I still haven't recovered, in fact I might have to have another reconstruction surgery very soon. You all need to check yourselves.

I'm sorry it happened to you. Maybe you should preach this in the Lakers and Cavs forums too. There are NUMEROUS fans on those blogs who wish nothing but the worst when it comes to the Celtics. Infact, CB is one of the better blogs on SBnation.

And for the record, before anyone else tries to make me feel bad/call me a dumb ass or pathetic, please know that I'm not a bad person. I volunteer at the local soup kitchen. Try and help everyone I can in my own capacity..and do various other things that can be classified as 'good deeds'. What I've said/posted on this thread is simply my reaction to what the LA n Cavs fans were posting/saying about us when we were going through a tough time with injuries. I don't regret it or feel bad about it.

Now go ahead, say what you have to say, I know I will sleep well tonight.

Just because they do it doesn't mean you should too. Be better by not.

I want Kobe to be 100% healthy... then they'll stop talking about how "despite injury he's still the best player in the history of basketball"

I know its good to take the higher road, but I'm sorry...I can't do that when it comes to LA or Cavs.

Guys, cut it out with the injury wishes, you're freaking me out...u know how karma works!  ;)

On a side note, I feel terrible for Mello, the man deserves more respect than he gets, and a title would earn him that. Kenyon on the other hand, at least his career is almost over (well, IS over now) anyways.

It doesn't help that ESPN/ABC/various other media outlets keep marketing their 'dream' finals as the Cavs vs the Lakers because that sort of compromises the value of watching actual playoff series (ie, they are trying to advertise the NBA to 'casual' fans). That could all very well backfire like it has in the past if a 'wild-card' type of team gets to the finals, or if said team doesn't manage to win many games in the finals as has happened in the past.

I find it strange that you claim to be a good person and you help at a Soup Kitchen, then in the same paragraph wish injury on certain people.  All because they do not play for your favorite team.  I find your thinking a bit strange.  I can only believe your ill will towards Lakers and Cavs players contradicts your good doings at the Soup Kitchen.

I think you need to reevaluate some thinking.

lol, I love how everyone is targeting this guy - not saying I'm a moderator but the original topic of this thread was about an actual injury to an NBA player, not an imaginary one...

...also I'm going to give him another TP for defending himself.

Thanks for the suggestion.I didn't say I was perfect or pretend to be a saint. Not going to change the way I feel about LA or Cavs.

Thanks :)

People can judge me all they want. Its their opinion and its a free world. Won't change the way I feel about those two teams.

I'm sorry I only think of disgust when I think of Kobe Bryant. After Kobe's *stunt* back in Denver all those years ago, and him acting like it's nothing big, I hope something DOES bite him in the rear.

Parents have their kids wear his jersey with pride? You might as well wear a shirt that says "I support a rapist" and if you don't want that slogan use this "I support a man that COMMITS ADULTERY ON HIS WIFE". If I found out Pierce did stuff like that i'd toss out his jersey in 2 seconds. I'm still baffled that people root for him after that, that's why I dislike Laker fans. They are usually as ignorant, stupid, and as fake as Kobe and Phil Jackson themselves.

True Celtic = Leon Powe
