I am calling it:

Lester Hudson will play in the D-League while his rights are owned by another club.

Gerald Green will one day play basketball in another country

Antoine Walker will loose a bet

And the next player the Celtics draft will be male over the age of 18.

I know, I know, I'm going out on a limb here but just wanted you to know I typed this before finding out Antoine had gambling problems

 ;) :D ;D

Sure hope the OP takes this for the joke it is ;D
nice one about Toine :D TP

Bill Walker will continue to play some really good basketball.

And Leon Powe will come back strong. He is, and always has been, a much better player than Big Baby.

As for some other ex-Celtics:

-Gabe Pruitt has always been bad. I used to crack up when I would see people complaining about Pruitt not getting enough PT. I believe he's in the D-League now, but expect him to be out of the league completely in a year or so.

-Eddie House, while I loved him, will probably continue to decline and retire within 2 years.

-Patrick O'Bryant, like Pruit, has always been awful. I'd make a prediction about him but I'm not sure he's still in the league. Again, hilarious how people used to say this guy should get more PT.

Just FYI, if you look at the posting rules you'll see this:

I like that Davis is part of the team.  He's a barometer to differentiate between those that know and those that don't.  It's a good way of separating the pack.

Leon Powe and Sheldon Williams are good for that as well.

In regards to Bill Walker:  I'll be rooting for him.  Sadly it was more of numbers game for him.  I've always felt he could be a nice athletic wing off the bench.  He doesn't have the smarts to be a regular rotation player, IMO.  But since Dantoni doesn't really know how to coach he'll probably gets lots of run.  Doc probably went with TA over him for defensive purposes which is probably a good idea although too much TA leads to a lot of TOs and bone head plays.

Nate is better than every player they traded for him.

the question is what have u called then ???.. u said he will continue to play good basketball but then admit u havent seen him play?? doesnt make much sense to me.. scoring 20 points doesnt mean ur playing good basketball

First, I'm predicting he's going to keep playing well, isn't that exactly what I said?

Secondly, 9/13 fg's for 21 points is good basketball, and that's pretty much not up for debate. Even if the D is nonexistent, somebody scoring like that will outproduce who they match up against.

And third, I don't like to get snarky on this forum, but come on man, reading comprehension ftw.

reading comprehension?? u said hes playing good baskeball but u havent seen him play?? that makes ummmmmmmm no sense sorry.. like my friend edgar said 9/13 playing for the knicks pretty much means nothing..

Haha of course it doesn't make sense to you, since you aren't comprehending it.

So I'll explain it for you.

The implication of my statements are as follows:
1) You don't always need to see somebody play to know if they're playing good basketball. I'm pretty sure if I showed you Lebron's stats and we compared them to Scalabrine's, even you would be able to tell me who's playing better basketball.
2) Of course, you resort to the "my grandma can put up stats on the Knicks"... right. Because playing on the Knicks magically makes your shots go down.

Oh, and I forgot to mention something.

It's SOOO weird that when you look at a bunch of players that have been traded to/from the knicks they have pretty much the same stats per 36 minutes. (see: www.basketball-reference.com)

I mean, I thought the Knicks magically made everybody a better offensive player? Have I been lied to??

Reality check: the "my grandma can put up 20 a night with the Knicks" argument holds no water whatsoever. Bill Walker putting up 20 points 2 nights in a row isn't indicative of some crazy Madison Square Garden hocus pocus, it's a product of the fact he's a good player. And he'll continue to put up scoring nights like that.

Keep on doubting, haters.

Oh and fyi I posted this before I looked at the box score of the Knicks game tonight... Billy just put up 22 points.

Sorry for patting my own back but I've got a little bit of a chip on my shoulder about the Bill Walker thing

I remember last year saying how he was solid player, possibly even better than Turnover Tony (who's been playing better this year, but still sucks), and EVERYBODY got on me for that comment. I don't think one person on this forum came out and said, "I agree, I think Bill Walker is gonna be good, he should get PT to develop."

You had me going for a minute, but there's no way on the planet that almost everybody that posted in a thread, any thread, defended or supported Tony Allen. Maybe in his rookie year, not since.

Just for fun, though, I was for Rondo when there were loads of posts that we couldn't start him if we were trying to win the title with the big three, I supported Perk when people said he'd never be good enough to be a starter on a contending team, and I stuck up for Al when people wanted to get rid of him because he had glass ankles and because people that play as poorly in the summer league as he did don't have a future in the nba.

Great point about BBD vs. Leon.

Leon has looked solid since his return and he'll only continue to get stronger. He's the perfect hard-nosed "banger/bruiser" coming off any bench....just wish he was on ours.

Also, you can catch Patty O'Bryant at the VERY END of the Toronto Raptors bench where he generally wears the same suit every game as he's usually a DNP-CD.

Getting 30+ minutes a night on an up-tempo team that prioritizes offense over defense will probably get you plenty of opportunities to average 20 points.

BTW, despite scoring 43 points so far as a Knick, he is only +8 overall.

It's not about hating Walker. I hoped he'd have a chance to contribute here. Instead of battling Tony Allen and Marquis Daniels for minutes backing up Ray Allen and Paul Pierce, he now gets all the available backup minutes behind Tracy "Ow, my knee" McGrady and Wilson Chandler.

i'd bet my left stone that the knicks couldn't turn scalabrine into a 20 ppg scorer...

Haha. Earl dropped 40 points on the Celtics once upon a time. 40 freaking points. Does that mean he was a super star scoring machine?

No.
