I am rooting for Leglar to be right about the team needs the excitement of the playoffs to get going and that we will see them build towards that excitement in April.

Scal was on the radio this morning, and he was really harping on the fact that the playoffs are a different animal.  Lots of extra time for preparation.  Lots more adjustments in between games.  No back to backs.  I really want to believe it...but I can't until I see them flip the switch.

The Best is yet to come with our Celtics...

I just believe that.

MMMmmm...Kool Aid served up by the national media. I love it and I of course feel the same way.

Bruce Bowens on First Take predict that Boston loses by the second round...said they lost their luster.Skip says they are still capable of winning it all.Im surprise Skip is backing the Celts.

Bowens also stated that Sheed came into the season out of shape, and should be down on the blocks more...he is not doing what he was brought in to do.I agree with Bruce in the Sheed assessment 100%.

I agree with Legler, although I clearly want to see the Celtics step up their game right now.

Remember, Legler was the only "expert" to predict that the C's would win the '08 Finals. :)

Whatever no one else is saying is what Skip seeks to back. I dont take much comfort in a Skip backing because that means literally none of his peers feel the same way. At the same time, I dont take comfort in anything these natinal media guys have to say anyway. They are all wrong even when they are right.

I'll believe it when I start seeing some start to finish domination in games

When was the last time this team just went out and dominated every facet of the game against someone who isn't one of the worst teams in NBA history

When I started seeing tip off to end game horn efforts and convincing wins against teams not from NJ, I will believe Legler, until then, I can only hope and pray he's right and rout my butt off for them when they play
Pick 2 Knicks

PG: George Hill, Ty Lawson
SG: Ray Allen, Anthony Parker, Quentin Richardson
SF: Grant Hill, Matt Barnes, D
PF: Zach Randolph, Kenyon Martin, Jon Brockman, Dante Cunningham
C:  Nene Hilario,   Own rights: Nikola Pekovic IR: Kyle Weaver

Yea, to me it just sounds like excuses and I'm not buying it at all. But for the love of God I hope I'm wrong.

Timmy has been touting the Celtics all season. I hope he is right, but I for one think that the team will find it very hard to return to a full intensity come play off time.
