I think that would be a good fit. Denver needs size and is a veteran team and won't put up with Skippy's laziness. While I hate Blount, I would like to see them beat the Lakers in the playoffs and Blount helps with that.

Denver's achilles heel is periods of focus issues. That has gotten better with Chauncey but still. Blount wont help any team at this point of his career.

actually Denver would be a terrific fit for him.  Their achilles heel is a desperately thin frontcourt.  Basically that's why the Lakers beat them - if Martin, Nene or Birdman get into foul trouble, they have absolutely zippo up front, and the Lakers bigs crushed them.  Blount actually can provide them some depth.

I was hoping that they'd signed him. Anywhere but here sounds great.

Did they actually sign him? Or is it just another misleading thread title? I'd like to see Z go to Denver to make them better than what Blount would give them. I like Denver, they play a good style of game and are going to be a tough team to beat in the finals if they get past the Lakers. I like their chances.

Sorry if that was misleading. I was just pondering? I guess I should've put in a ? mark.

Hey - any team that signs him gets a free look.  It was like all that hand wringing about Marbury and chemistry nonsense.  It was entirely on him to fit in, Celts had no downside risk ... the risk is that the player stinks (like Steph did).

Skippy played his best ball in a half season for a contract. So if he's got anything left he'll show it now.  Denver needs another big.

Blount isn't a good fit for anybody.  He hasn't played all year so it's a stretch to say he can help anyone.  He's probably a risk worth taking for the Nuggets though...
