Reportedly, Thorn is willing to buyout several players if they are willing to give up some money.

None of them appear to be willing to do that.

will they really not even give up the prorate minimum for a chance to play for something? I would think Battie would get signed as a body at least. If not by us, but elsewhere.

I say both. Mainly Finley because if he could play G/F for us that would be great. Battie deserves to wear green again, but someone made a better point that Kenny Thomas would be superb. That guy can out rebound most of our team(currently) and has a decent post game AND lack of range so he won't be stuck behind the arc racking up techs.
Can't stop, Rondo!

I'm all set with Kenny Thomas. But I'm with you on Finley.

Sign Finley.

A team is like an ocean with its currents, everything stays the same until there is a slight tweak, then the whole operation changes and you get terrible, life-destroying storms and freak weather....

In this case, Finley is the tweak and the terrible, life-destroying storms and freak weather is another Celtics championship.

(okay sue me for being hopeful....or for twisted analogies)

I would like Finley and Thomas now since Tony didn't get bought out.

People really want Tony Battie? Honestly if he wasn't a former Celtics wouldn't this be pretty laughable. I mean, looking at his best years of his career they are pretty embarrasing. He's not a good rebounder not a good defender and a terrible offensive player. There is absolutely no reason to pick him up.

As for Michael Finley is there really a discernible difference between him and Scal?
