Look, I get that Williams doesn't have great hands. I get that he can't do much in terms of creating his own shot. But you cannot tell me that given 15-20 minutes a night (or given Baby's minutes) that his contributions would be so much worse than Baby's that he doesn't deserve to be on the floor.

Even Scal gets a token 5-10 minutes a game. I don't understand. I know, I'm not in practice. But are Scal/Davis really just practicing so much better than Shelden this whole season? Really? Say what you want about Williams: He rarely made the boneheaded plays that Davis does on a daily basis.

Scal is a flat out liability out there. Is Shelden so much worse of a practicer than Scal that he won't even see the court? Even though both players are 7 footers and only one can grab a rebound?

Agreed.  BBD must have some photos of Doc in a compromizing position?  Why he tries (and fails) at putbacks against 2 or 3 opponents instead of passing to those all-stars is beyond me.  He dosnt' seem to know his limitations.  Has he been infected with Bad Tony Syndrome?  Maybe he's better than Shelden, but he clearly isn't the answer and isn't getting it done in games, which should mean quite a bit, right?

  • You say when......
I don't see how people can say sheldon has bad hands...he hasn't played enough for anyone here to be able to say so....what we did see was a rebounder, a guy who can elevate anytime, good passer...what could happen in practice that makes scal or bbd look good....let that be your point of reference for docs decision making.....what ever scal or bbd "prove" to doc in "practice" disappears in the game....Doc is just a block head, if the teams results don't tell us that...we ain't looking...! There is No reason to ever play scal over sheldon...play more = get everything going, get your timing, confidence, ect....what did all those starts and minutes do for scals development, BBD..? Doc is just a cocky dude, if he likes you, you play....there have been others that didn't get any minutes either...!

I don't know if playing him would help or not at this point. I do know we didn't lose to team like the Nets when Williams was playing before BBD came back.

Well playing sheldon won't fix everything...but it will get the ship pointed in the right direction.....trade BBD for leon too..! LOL....How can BBD play for the CELTICS, and be so lame.......doesn't he realize his chance at history..? Lets see wealth and ever lasting fame and respect...or cheeseburgers & chicken wings...? So hard for me ( BBD) to decide.....

I'd rather give him Sheed's minutes. I think Sheldon doesn't lose us games and Sheed does
