Rasheed is 10x better than Mikki, who shouldn't be in the league.  But like others have said, at least Mikki was trying.  It wasn't his fault that he sucked.  It would be nice to see Rasheed actually go get a rebound instead of waiting for one to fall into his hands.

I think Mikki was at least trying.
He probably won't but I sure wish Doc would just bench the guy. And yes, Scal would be better IMO.

Yeah, you keep telling yourself that. Because Scalabrine is SO much better than Rasheed....NOT!!!!!!!!!

Funny, everything the OP said I feel about Glen Davis and not Rasheed Wallace.  Although Davis does seem like he tries harder though.

How was Rasheed doing poorly last night, outside of a rotation or two?  He came in and lit up the Cavs in the post.  Is it his fault that they call an iso-post play for Davis, who proceeds to badly miss and fall to the ground, thus leading to a fast break?  Is it Sheed's fault that they throw him the ball at the 3point line with 4 seconds left on the shot clock?  He had 9 very efficient points at the half, and could have played better in the second half, but so could have everyone else on the Celtics.

While I agree that Rasheed doesn't play 100% every play, and it can be frustrating to watch at times, but he does provide a lot more than a bunch of other players off the bench.

Very good points. Unfortunately, some people here will blindly blame Rasheed for everything, even though they have no rational reasoning. He's become the new fall guy for the Celtics. Maybe it's because he's not young enough and filled with enough "potential." Or...I know...it's because he's not, ready for it...the right "fit" for this team.

There it is!!

I wish someone picked apart my every move at work like this and compared me to previous co-workers that got laid off. It would make for a lot of entertainment. Then again I wish I also made 6 millions dollars a year. Yay celtics blog

One thing is that very few guys on our entire team go to get a rebound its not just rasheed; rondo, tony allen & kg to a point go after rebounds (kg healthy always).
Mikki was a big who could sit at end of bench.  Rasheed could start for a lot of nba teams now and imo would be first big off the bench on 90% of nba teams.
Here is my thought on chucking the 3's...I have no problem with him doing it as the trailer if within the flow of the game ala McHale.  Doc or the vets should just yell at him if he's taking too many, we need his offense down low!
