PG: RONDO! Kiddo you have the greatest pentrating dish abilities in the league. I am enjoying how you have been coming along in with your game in the last yr. Since the 09' Playoffs. But, Please stop with the I wanna take the last shot of the quarter to show everyone I can shoot episodes you been having here in the last month here in this season. It totally kills any momemtum we have built up when you make bonehead decisions by not getting a good shot or not getting 1 up at all. Also teams are willing to foul you knowing you are going to miss at least 1 of them. And thats unacceptable coming from a starting PG who plays all game and lives at the line. Work before and after practice 200 a day to get that form & percentage up to 75-80%. And last but not least, if you are going to shoot 3's shoot them from the top of the key because that is where you are most effective after watching the HORSE competition agaisnt Durant.

SG: RAY Mr. JESUS! Please run off the screens with more speed with the intention to score. If your shooting hand is free, let it fly! KOBE would! And you shoot better than him. No more hesistating when free, you didnt do it in Seattle so dont do it here whether you 34 or 24. Also when the shot is not there when you come off the screen, please don't pass it to Perk anymore at the foul line because it waste precious time on the shot clock being he is never going to take it! And it sends our offense into panic mode for a bucket with the time running down. Other than those things, I am pleased with you as a whole. Remember you are the best pure shooter in the league so act like it!

SF: Oh PAUL MR. PIERCE! Where do I start? Did you lie on your Birth Certificate like the those defectors from Cuba does in the MLB? Because you are playing like you are 38 these days, you have this glossy look in your eyes like you cant don it anymore when your number is called in crucial moments when the team is running bad. You dont attack the basket with the same fierce NO HOLDS BARRED attack you did in your younger years. Resulting in less points for your team being we hardly ever get the other team in the penalty. Have we fouled out any player this season? if so, not much I wonder why! I Love You Man, so all im asking for is that you play the games with the same enthusiasm & guile as you did in the 2010 3pt. contest. Yes I said it, he played the 3pt. contest harder than ANY game I can remember this season. Thats Sad! He was extremely motivated for that & not most of the games. TRUTH! I would love for you to set me free on this one with a once patented 4th quarter takeover against any team. That would be a start you could build on!

PF: KEVIN GARNETT my man! Hurt or not, if you are playing, I need you to exert youself more on offense. Call for the ball more in the paint. Its time to get selfish for once in your career! You have to show your teammates that you got the DOG IN YOU BACK! I for 1 is not 1 of the people who are saying your done, cause quite frankly I dont see what they are seeing. What I see is a player lacking confidence when the ball is in your hands, so you are looking for the pass before 1st and 2nd instead of thinking attack! You are 1 of the 3 most gifted PF's (DIRK & DUNCAN)in the league 80% explosion or not, so get it in your mind that you are. You still play great defense when not covering quick forwards or guards on the perimeter. But I need & let me say this LOUDER, NEED BETTER REBOUNDING from you. quit waiting & watching Perk get your rebounds. You are not going to the ball but instead letting the ball come to you. Your numbers are lacking because of that reason & not because of your knee! Rebound is 90% want & desire and only 10% smarts. I think you check out good with the doctors in those categories so go get em' Non athletic Popeye Jones & Tim Duncan always did! So stop fading & evading on offense & get tough with it again so I can read those expletives from your lips when you are running good from dunks and layups!

C: KENDRICK PERKINS! You my guy of all guys on this team! I never have to say you dont play hard, hustle play Defense etc. Not many complaints for you my friend. But I need that FT% back up to the high 60's & 70's again. Do you & Rondo even practice them after & before practice? Another thing, if a Guy like LEBRON stares you down after making a 3pt. play on you to somewhat embarass you. Dont get upset visably to where the refs are looking for unnecessary chatter after the play. Hold it in, raise you hand & take the foul, but the next time he barrels down the lane for a repeat... Bust his lip with a Elbow acting like you were going for a block. Do it suddle so the refs just think it was a hard foul in the process of playing hard defense. After that! I bet you there would be 2nd guessing steaming down the paint with no regard. Guys will start bracing for impact & altering there own shots & missing because that sends a message of "NOT IN OUR PAINT TONIGHT BUDDY"!

RESERVES SHORT & SIMPLE!

RASHEED WALLACE! Just give me 8-10 post up shots a game, and I will reward you with 2 3pt. shots a game. And if you make Both, you can chuck it until you miss 2 straight. Thats a fair deal if I ever heard one. You defense isnt bad at all actually, And I like you length to alter shots & get rebound on defense. What I dont like though, is that you hardly EVER get a offensive rebound because you are hanging around the 3pt. line. Technicals are easier to stomach when you play with intelligence on O & D. How can a guy of your talents have people in Boston wondering whether you were a good signing? Think about it Sheed, look in the mirror & correct your wrongs which is chucking far too many 3's which negates your passing, rebounding & scoring production from the post where you earn your reputation in this league! Dont make the game which comes easy for you harder by playing out of your GOOD elements.

GLEN DAVIS! I love your attention on defensive rotations, I like the charges you take being that you cant block shots. I like your willingness to gaurd the SHAQ's D-HOWARDS when clearly over matched length wise. But you do make them miss gimme shots they should make, so I credit you being that you must make them uncomfortable by laying that BIG BODY on them. But, here is you downside dude! What happened to the mid-range Jumper you almost perfected last yr. Is it the thumb injury suffered brawling? IDK! But since Doc wont tell you I will! When you are down in the box 1 on 1, if you dont pin the man on you back or you cant use the rim as a shield from a defender. DONT SHOOT! You have a uncanny ability to get your shot blocked when going for lay-ups faced up with you defender. And if they do not block it, its a horrible looking flick or heave at the basket which is very low percentage. Wish you could dunk in traffic but you only given the tools your given right? So quit forcing that shot up man. You will get your points on  easy putbacks & that open jumper if you start hitting it with regularity again.

MARQUIS DANIELS! Its simple for you, keep slashing & cutting for easy buckets. Run harder in transition & get healthy & in shape. Love what you bring off our bench. And quit shooting the corner 3 so much its not your game. Step in 1 or 2 steps into your normal range. Dont let our 3 happy team effect your game by falling into the same trappings. All around though NO majors flaws discovered.

TONY ALLEN! Quit the team already! You shoulda been part of the NEW YORK deal if you cant hit a open jumper. You been in the league over 5 yrs & have digressed as a player & athlete. Although you hustle like crazy at times on defense, your offensive cluelessness is a detrimental factor to our teams success. You over dribble when you should clearly get the ball out of your hands. You turn doen open shots only to drive to the basket recklessly hoping for contact so you can go to the line where you will probably miss 1 of 2. Your are a turnover or bad shot waiting to happen so stand CLEAR of that ball. And why after 5 plus yrs. in the league have NOBODY fixed that hitch in your shot. Shawn Marion has a prettier stroke than you do and thats a crime in basketball terms. Your elbow action when the shot is released is somewhat like an Olympic Shot Putter! All over the place & not cute!

NATE ROBINSON! Not enough games to evaluate so just be more assertive & ultra aggressive. The bench needs a shot of adrenaline!

SCALABRINE! Stay ready to foul if we need you, be ready to hit the corner 3. Give Boston some money back if you like for your non production, and also learn to take the BALL OUT MAN! Last weeks debacle in Portland could qualify & make a top 50 all-time NBA blunder reel.

SHELDEN WILLIAMS! No complaints, you play hard when called upon & your are getting the best out of your talents really! You were never a top 5 talent to start as Atlanta clearly made a mistake in drafting you that high. Good thing you came from DUKE because without that on your resume. You would be playing in Turkey! All that said, I am still jealous of you. Candice Parker, Candice Parker! Really! How did you pull that off man? Britney Griner YES! Candice definitely shoulda been a NO. Life if grand for you my friend!

MARCUS LANDRY! Get cut & tell your brother Laron to sign with us for the LLE exception. Dreaming I know, but you should be the 8th man on a D-League roster & NO WHERE NEAR a Championship type roster.

wow, haha, that was an interesting post.

i definitely don't agree on tony allen.  i've always been one of the biggest anti-tony guys, but quit the team?  and he has certainly progressed as a basketball player.  his finishing and creativity around the rim has impressed me this year.

That's some flawless logic right there.

You know last year after we won the title. I told my brother which is Laker fan that A healthy Tony Allen is a another plus to our team. Tony balled out in 1 game against the Pistons at Detroit & I was like I told you so! Then now every game I eat crow because he says "Lets see what that bum Tony Allen you like does" And what does Tony under a microscope do! Dribble with his head down, over dribbles on fast breaks when he could get it Rondo & hit the wing, and misses open jumpers or doesn't take them cuz he cant shoot with the hitch shot! He's is 6'4 maybe 6'3 so he should be a excellent dribbler, passer or shooter right? He is none of them. Only a defender, a defensive specialist who cant match up against a premier SF because he give up too much size. Now he is a liability on defense against Lebron & KOBE! So what is his value to us?

Tony's actually been a lot better this year.  Trust me, I felt like you do earlier this year, especially after Tony nearly killed us in a couple games in the playoffs.  TA has been an important part of our bench this year, especially when Marquis has been out.

This is my choice for post of the year!  Wonderful.  A big fat TP.  My only criticism would be to lighten up on Marcus a bit...you have to give props for determination :o
plus: Tony's here so might as well root....

No words of inspiration for Doc?  Let me help:

Doc Rivers:  Thanks for keeping the guys together.  They need a solid, experienced former player as their coach right now to teach them the one thing they don't already know:  How to continue to excel on the tail end of their career, when their mind knows, but the body won't follow.  It's the one thing you've done that they haven't.  And read CelticsBlog, okay?  Sometimes, there really IS something you can do...

Can't agree with your assessment of Ray. I actually think Ray has been playing more like the Ray of the Seattle days since the All-star break. Not sure anyone tries harder to get open off screens than him.

Ray lately has been Seattle Ray yes he have. But, he still passes up shots when open when he just needs to keep chucking.

if sheed hits 2 straight three pointers, i say they can stop the game, give him the game ball, and reward all in attendance with a free taco. nice post, good venting!

ease up on TA though. i think he has played pretty well this year, especially the Lakers game at home. frustrating at times, but to say he has not improved at all is not fair. his jump shot does stink, but remember, if it was good, he probably would have been a lottery pick.
