This team has looked like this for the last 28 games. It has nothing to do with Nate Robinson. They have lost 11 double digit leads since Christmas and Nate has only been here for one of those games. Since starting 23-5, they have gone 13-15.

otherwise, what do you suppose accounted for the rest of the season? fear of a trade for nate in advance?

what we saw tonight was nothing new, it fits the formula all year:

1. establish a large lead going into halftime by playing competent to good basketball.
2. play like utter trash the third quarter, squander any lead they may have built up, get into a close game
3. Try to win the game in the fourth, often coming up short/ needing a desperation play to win it.

Only difference tonight was we were short our best defender for lebron, and they smoked us in the 4th. nothing new, it's just normally close at the end.

Was a problem long before nate got here, and i expect it will be one going forward, doubly so with paul out of the lineup.

Nate is the kind of player that needs to be unleashed in the second unit. Let him go out there ala J.R Smith and chuck. That's what we brought him in for. Our offense needs a guy who can erupt for 20 off the bench. Nate was killing in the first quarter, then Doc the genius didn't play him again until it was too late.

Agree with you on this one. He should have been in there - and gunning - in the second half.

Yeah I liked what I saw out of Nate tonight. What I got from tonight is that even when Pierce is back in the lineup, Rondo has to dominate the game like he did in the first quarter for us to be successful. Pierce tends to try to be the player maker a little too much. And if Rondo is going to dominate, he needs to play less minutes. So I don't know how much I like the Nate/Rondo just for the fact that I think it would be better if Rondo was resting.

The Cavaliers messed up our chemistry ...

We looked lost because you cannot beat a team as good as the Cavs with only 1 above average shooter.  In the second half, they adjusted, blanketing Ray, crowded the lane, and denied (and doubled) anyone in the post.  They dared Rondo, Daniels, and Tony Allen to shoot, and they declined, deciding instead to try to force passes or drives where there were no lanes. 

This team needs Pierce back, they need another shooting option off the bench, and they need to smarten up.

Injuries has messed up our chemistry. I also believe Doc's rotations has messed up the chemistry. We can never seem to throw out a solid team for at least 8 games.
