This game is setup for Celtics beat-down. Celtics aren't a good home team facing the best team in the NBA team. No Pierce and Possibly No Marquis. That's 18-25ppg missing on a team that struggles to score. Add the struggles from downtown, being last in the NBA Rebounds, and no go to scorer. And last but not least, Who the hell is going to stop Lebron from exploding on the Celtics? Absolutely no depth at the wing position. Lebron will go for the kill, and humiliate the Celtics on national TV.

We beat the Cavs without KG last year, right?

I agree the odds are definitely in the Cavs' favor, but we've still go a chance.

This is also shaping up like a trap game for a Cavs team that has been reeling a bit.  If Pierce isn't playing, there could be a bit of a letdown from the Cavs, while the C's may step it up another notch or two.

Really, I could see just about anything happen in this game.

I don't like only having one guy who can guard LeBron who'd normally be asked too.

We're going to see Ray Allen and Scalabrine try to check him, ugh....

We've got a shot but it's going to be tough.

Reverse jinx?
Calling out a reverse jinx negates it. So I am going on record as saying he was most certainly not trying the reverse jinx.

The thing is, the keys to slowing Lebron in our defense is not really the guy checking Lebron.  It is the big men, who are blitzing him, and then the backside guys rotating quickly to the right men.

I actually feel very confident that if the bigs do their job, Scal can do as good a job against Lebron as just about anyone, because he can be physical with him, and know that he has help with Lebron's quickness.  Unfortunately, I am not that confident in the big men right now.

I really think the Cavs may be looking ahead to World Record Snuggie Night.

Seriously though, they're gonna come hard in this one no matter who's playing.  They don't like us very much, and with good cause.  But I think we'll come out strong as well.  Should be a fun game.

With good cause? You should take off your cavs jersey and put down your oversized foam cavs finger. What have we ever done to them? The Celtics have never uttered a word of trash talk or been anything but nice to their opponents. ;-)

Celtics really need Nate to stick it to the Cavs tonight.. Ray will get his 20, KG will get his 14 to 19 points and Rondo will have a double double. We are going to really need Nate to pour in some points tonight. Who knows maybe we will see a Landry sighting, I hope so. I have a good feeling about tonights game as well!

You have underestimated Lebron James.

I would love for the C's to pull it out tonight, but I could see this one getting very out of hand. I think it would be different if the C's were missing Ray or KG, but since they are missing the Star that would normally defend Lebron... and his backup, this is a tough game.
