Kenny Thomas for a 10 day would be fun. It would be interesting to see if the 'helicopter' can still get off the ground. He used to play a little defense.

Linton Johnson for a 10 day is another option at the 3.

The idea of putting BBD on Lebron is not all that outlandish in the half court.

  • You know my methods, Watson.
so let me get this straight...

some of you ACTUALLY believe that danny would sign a guy to a 10 day contract, and on the same night, probably having no practice time under his belt (other than a shootaround), give him meaningful minutes against the Cav's and also have him guard the best player in the NBA?

...you're kidding, right?  ::)

We have players on the bench that dont play already...Why go to the d league and get another youngster who definitely wont get minutes in doc's system... Allen will start on him...Landry might get some minutes here and there but I bet Allen and Scal will be playing on James the majority of the game.

It wouldn't hurt to bring someone in on a 10 day contract while people were sick.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Like who?  Right now two guys are sick, and they might play through it anyways.  Are there any guys out there who they can bring in, and they would actually want on the floor?

This team is not desperate for bodies yet.  We will see what happens tonight, but I am not that concerned yet.  All bringing in extra people will do is make things more disjointed.

If guys start going down with things more serious, then maybe they can think about it, but right now, I think they should only be looking for guys who they want on the team for the rest of the season, because they think they could actually help on the floor.

any worthy d-leaguers out there?  Probably could be better for us than some washed up scrub (like we usually sign).
D-leaguers are far scrubbier. That's why no one signs them.

Anyone happen to know where Brandon Wallace is playing these days?  He was long, athletic and a good defender at 6'8".  And he has the added benefit of being familiar with our system.

And to throw another name out there- Justin Reed. About the same size and also a hard-nosed defender.  And he also knows our system.

But I think Danny will wait before he grabs a player.  Someone decent is bound to get bought out or waived.

Nachbar Wants to Leave Turkey?

Former NBA player would leave Turkish team

Bostjan Nachbar wants to leave Efes Pilsen for problems with the coach Ergin Ataman. Those are the words that former NBA player released at Siol.net:

"The coach doesn't see me in a leading role. I am looking for solutions where to continue my career. I'm waiting if there will be any openings but current time is not on my side because the season is going to the second half already. There is also a possibility of me going back to NBA. If not now, maybe next year. Physically I am in great shape and I keep myself in shape. All in all, I look at this current situation also in somekind of good way, as I will be rested to play for our National Team. At my age a little bit of rest won't harm me but I would definitely perfer to play and help my team."

Brandon Wallace, last I checked played for the Lakers D-League team. He's worthless, though. Really only made the team because we needed bodies and he made a couple dunks in summer league.

Reed is either in the D-league or in Europe. Equally worthless.
