I don`t think he is a good fit here. His skill set is similar to Marquis and TA...

We need a SG/SF who can hit the three...

Good luck finding one.

girlfriend aside, before his year in Boston I would've called James Posey pretty lazy. it's amazing what playing for a contender can do for a player's motivation.

Stripes. I love it. Uncle Hulka?

As others have said, he's not an upgrade over Daniels or Tony.

I have no use for him here unless we lose TA or Quis to injury. I think he would fit best with the Grizz at this point.

Let's just sign a D-Leaguer who shoots the 3 like automatic.

Hughes Wants To Sign With Charlotte

Larry Hughes would like to sign with the Bobcats, according to a source. Hughes was waived this week by the Kings.

Hughes played in Philadelphia for Bobcats coach Larry Brown and worked with Bobcats general manager Rod Higgins when Higgins was in management roles in Washington and Golden State.

Signing Hughes would cost the Bobcats about $240,000 the rest of the season, a number that would still keep them below the threshold to pay the NBA's luxury tax.

Still hoping the C's take a look at him.

I don't really think he would need to.  I think if he could score some baskets for us when we are in a drought, not cause turnovers, and not bring huge drop offs from where our starters left off when he would sub in for them.

Look at it from his point of view though.  There really is not that much of a role for him here.  Why would he choose to go here, over other places, if he is going to be fighting with two other wings who can't shoot for minutes?

For the chance to win a championship but I think Larry would rather go for the playing time over that to be honest.

He's not exactly what we need.  However, unless other options emerge, I don't think it hurts.  It doesn't really help to have a wing who "fits better" if he's not going to play either.

At the very least with Hughes he could step in and play well if someone went down.

One of the most inconsistent players in the league. spoke to a cabbie in Cleveland during a visit there and he hated the guy. Had him on my fantasy team before he signed with Cleveland when he was hot; but still was very up and down.
