Division winners get the top 3 seeds.

But not home court, only if they have the better record.

But if we're essentially guaranteed at least the 3 seed, there's no realistic chance of getting ATL in the 1st or 2nd rounds (unless ATL catches ORL in their division).

Good point. Didn't think fully on that before I posted like I did earlier in this thread too.  I probably should just stay out of this thread haha.

The hawks are 2 games back (1 in the loss column) so it isn't unrealistic.

I would prefer not to play the Hawks, but think it is important to note that the C's winning the Atlantic Division does not guarantee the third seed. Seeding is now completely based on W-L percentage so if they win the Atlantic, but have the 4th best win loss, then the 4th seed it will be.

Unless we get more injuries we're as likely to be the 2nd seed as the 4th.

Here is how they do the seeding now. Celts can still get 4th seed if they win the Atlantic:

To address the criticisms of having each division champion guaranteed a top-3 seed, regardless of record, the rules were changed such that the division winners are now only guaranteed a top-4 seed. The best second-placed team in the division now may be seeded as high as 2 depending on its regular season record. This avoids the scenario of possibly having the two best teams in the conference seeded 1 and 4 if they play in the same division, thus being forced to play each other in the second round (given no upsets).

We would crush them.

You know what forget what I just said it's not worth it.  I'm just glad to see that you believe in the C's again Budweiser.

Even though just the other day I remember you saying that your dark horse pick the Atlanta Hawks would win the East, coincidentally.

I highly doubt it that I said that. If anything I said that the Bobcats could be a dangerous team during the playoffs.

I thought you said that too! It's going to kill me not knowing who really did say it now.

That being said you have to admit the hawks have added firepower as well as added experience and could make a strong playoff push.

That being said the Celtics should be extra motivated after going 0-4 against them in the regular season. The Hawks might actually come in overconfident and complacent for the first couple of games if we were to play them.

I know Brickowski is always saying that Atlanta is going to win the East.

Bingo! TP for the assist.
