This one's O-V-E-R.

Ugly....ugly....ugly.

But a win is a win is a win.
First game back from a long roadie usually is pretty ugly.

The defense sucked, good thing the Knicks are pretty awful on their own.

Yup.

Well, he went 2 for 7 for 4 pts, an assist and 2 steals... so sucked may be a strong word...

Celtics win!

Tougher than expected and no D at all... but ironically we won the game on a Ray Allen block. Ugh? Sometimes it's useless trying to understand some games scenarios... we got the win, that's all that matters.

It was nice to see Eddie getting a standing ovation and greeted by his teammates, even at the end of the game. Very emotional scene, kind of beautiful and sad at the same time.

Nate did have a poor shooting night but I really liked what I saw from him in this game. A lot of energy and speed, good shots offensively for the most part, and OK defense. In comparison to the other Celtics he looked like Shane Battier out there!

This is still not the "signature win in Boston" I've been expecting for months but I think it will come thursday against the Cavs, the Celtics show up against good teams.

TP's to everybody.

It's a win. If we win Thursday we won't care about how ugly this one was.

BTW, LAL down by 5 after 3rd qtr.

Very encouraging to see Ray and KG keep their streak of good games going whilst Pierce is getting some much deserved rest. Pity he has the flu too.

Glad we won but so sad Eddie has to leave  :'(

I can't believe how many times I had to ask who is that whenever Landry appeared on my screen.
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

One way to look at it-----he recorded something in his statline which is something Scal rarely does.

Showed some energy based on what little I caught of the 3rd and 4th quarters.

I think Nate will be a real plus for the team.

But... it was interesting to be on the receiving end of Eddie House.  Though he didn't hit his shots, his presence on the court is significant especially in games like this.  He made me nervous.  Ultimately, Nate will be more valuable (my guess), but Eddie is a fearsome shooter.  The last 2 he threw up I thought were going in.

Glad to see Bill Walker play solid with his minutes.  There is NO REASON why he couldn 't have done that for the Celtics. Absolutely none, way to give a guy a chance Doc.  And dont give me excuses people. I ve seen way too much TA, & Scal this way; we know what they are;  i bet $$$$ once walker figures out how to stop fouling , he'll have a better career than both those 2

Seriously, House is scary when he's on the other side. But I agree that Nate will be more valuable. Even without knowing the offense, the second unit looked much smoother. Now we can have drives, drive and dishes, and alley-oop passes available to the second unit.

I agree, I was really scared when I saw Eddie taking OK shots at the end of the game, and his last one was in and out... it would have tied the game! We know what opponent fans have been going through for years, and boy, it's a scary feeling. :P

Can't believe it. 2 dagger clutch 3s from Kobe on two consecutive plays to give LAL lead by 1 with 4sec to go. Memphis choked it away

Well, I'm happy with any game when we have to exert 5 minutes worth of defensive effort and still win.
