Quote from: droopdog7 on February 22, 2010, 12:24:47 PMObviously, the C's have started to pick it up lately. After playing like statues for the last month, it is good to see. But it's one thing to step up against tough competition on the road. Most teams really get up for those games. It is another thing to dispose of a bad team at home. This game shoudn't be close. So if the C's come out flat and again squeak out a victory (or if they....gulp, lose), it could show that their remain kinks on the armour. Obviously this is one game but I am really hoping for a laugher. We need another one of those badly.I feel that with the additions of T-Mac and house the Knicks aren't the push overs they once were. However, If KG and Perk keep playing the defense they've been playing the past few games we could get up big. I expect us to be short the captain tomorrow (after watching him against Denver he should sit). With Pierce out (just conjecture) Robinson should see a lot of minutes and hopefully make a splash in Celtics green.

If Pierce was ok to play, I'd be ok with him doing so. Other than that, I don't see how Nate can directly rest Pierce more, although in an indirect way Pierce sitting means Nate gets more minutes. Nate's a more direct sub for Rondo (and to a smaller extent Ray), no?Anyways, I digress. Doc already said in this article that there isn't time to get Nate integrated in the offensive sets, so it's a pick and roll all night, more or less.http://www.bostonherald.com/sports/basketball/celtics/view.bg?articleid=1234542&srvc=rss&utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+bostonherald%2Fsports%2Fbasketball%2Fceltics+%28Boston+Celtics+-+Celtics+%26+NBA+-+BostonHerald.com%29I look forward to that.
It won't be that interesting. The Celtics will win. Nate Robinson will scurry around and score some points, and the fanboys here will confidently predict Banner #18.

Then go watch games with Dr. Pangloss. You'll love it.
