I've never really done this before, but I think this is the time.  Honestly, though I don't believe it myself yet, I can sympathize with the KG doubters out there.  But how can anyone in the right frame of mind out there seriously think that Ray Allen was done?

I'm on board with everyone who thinks he might have slipped definsively or what not, but this is a guy who can drain a three when he's 60, let alone 34.

This team is not dead and is still very much in the running for Banner Number 18.

Go Celtics!

Ray brought it in a big way in the 4th quarter tonight on the 2nd night of a back to back.  It's the first time he's done it this season.  I really hope this is a breakthrough for him.

Hopefully with Nate on the team, we won't have to ride him into the ground, minutes wise.

SG: Kobe Bryant/Eric Gordon
SF: Jimmy Butler/Danny Granger/Danilo Gallinari

I love Ray, always have, always will ... and I had no doubts about his abilities at any time this year. He goes through down-times, like everyone ... but he's far from done. I am extremely happy he wasn't traded. ;)

Deteriorating?? KG was awesome tonight, and with every game he looks better, jumps higher, moves faster, and has the energy he should. Don't see him deteriorating at all at this point, other than just the slow climb back to health that his injury requires.

I never doubted Ray, I just thought he needed rest.

I'm so glad to see him play so well again, it's always great to see him bury something like 4 straight 3 pointers.

No can ever say you did.

Glad to see him getting doing what makes him so important to this team again.

Now lets see if he can keep it up.

i am not going to come on here and B.S. I felt we needed to trade Ray. I doubted ray. I thought keeping him was a big mistake. I watched his worked his butt off last night off the ball and was reminded by my 8 year old son how beautiful his shot was. I appreciate the pro he is and what a better human he is.

Ray is one of my favorite players of all-time. It's nice to see him get a little recognition for once. :)

The extra rest over the break along with not being traded might only be a short term boost. Time will tell...
