I hate the mac hine . Sasha is such a little pansy . Did anyone see him fall down like he was shot when he ran into a pick, and then as soon as he sees that the Lakers have the rebound he pops right up.  Then he makes a layup and he starts crying to the refs that he got fouled by Ray Allen like he is kobe..........

Oh Man, I just want to punch him in the face so bad !!!!!!!! >:(

Hopefully perk lays him on his ass when we see the Fakers and their weak bench in the finals

Lamar Odom can be really good at times but he is way too inconsistent and his behavior is annoying.

I agree with you guys, he is the Laker I dislike the most (close with Gasol though). But like Kobe, Gasol still has the talent to back down his antics, although he's still showing frequently why I call him Pau Gasoft. ;D

Odom is really a punk with his tongue antics and his taunting. Rondo got T'd up last night for "taunting" Shannon Brown after Ray's dunk ; yet just after this dunk, Odom posterizes Ray and he taunts him for like 10 seconds, and the refs don't give him a T. Pathetic, it added to my hate of Odom.

From what I've read, Lakers fans don't like him a lot either, they are used to call him Lamar Odumb when he plays like crap.

I can't believe a guy that would propose to a Kardashian after 1 week would be prone to poor decision-making  :).  TP for the vid, that's great stuff.

Brilliant!

and if I were Korean (which I'm not)
I'd summarize Sasha in two words:   Chum Gi!

One out of 15 games he is one of the very best players in the NBA. 3 more he is a great role player. the other 10-11 games you rarely notice he is there. He borrows a bit of heart from the other guys every now and then because it is clear he has none of his own.

I think that Odom's inconsistency is a result of him having to many weapons in his arsenal as crazy as that sounds. He pretty much can do anything and often has trouble balancing it all (although he has been terrific recently). That's trouble with a lot of similar players IMO (Darius Miles, Tyrus Thomas etc).

  • Rondo = Good
He's definitely an underachiever considering his talent and physical gifts (he's like a very good Tim Thomas), but he is still a great rebounder.  I should know; he's on my fantasy team and he's had many, many 15+ rebound games.
He's much much better than Tim Thomas ever was. He's just not a number one or two offensive option.

His rebounding, defensive versatility, and rebounding have made him one of the league's elite players. But people always look at his poor FT% and offensive issues and downgrade him.

My point is just that, like Tim Thomas, he could be a lot better than he is given his physical gifts.

I can't stand Odom ever since, as someone else said, he tackled Ray, that was just not basketball and so uncalled for and done because he was...losing. A hard foul, I get that. Tackling someone into the stands, should be suspended.

Kobe I do not like but at least respect his effort every night. Odom, he might as well be Jermaine O'neal or Jamaal Tinsley, just a punk on the court and a complete.

If I were coaching I would defiantely run him into a veru, very hard Baig Baby or Perkins pick, more than once a game.

I love watching Lamar Odom play but his inability to play to his potential drives me nuts!

He was celebrating and smiling so many times last night you've thought his team was playing well. He was probably still smiling after he lost. He's a punk among punks. There's no one to like on the lakers. I hate every player they have but I too think Jackson is the biggest coat tail rider in the history of sports. How times has he lost in the playoffs with the better team? At least 4 by my count. And he "dates" his bosses daughter. If he has so much love for House how come they didn't sign him or trade for him? I hope we meet in the finals and Baby goes flying into Jackson diving for a lose ball and crushes his spine! OK, that's a little harsh but you get the point.

I know, his potential is/was as high as KG's.

Yet one is somewhat of a joke among fans, the other is a top 3 PF all time.

Yeah, Think about this,

WIth Lamar's skill-set, natural abilitiy and gifts. If Lamar Odom played up to his potential,
he would be what Lebron is now.

He has every skill imaginable, just like LeBron, except Lamar cant jump as high, thats the only thing that separates them, physically.

If Lamar played up to his max ability and potential...the big matchup in the League would not be Kobe v. LeBron, it would be Lamar vs. LeBron.

Had Lamar played up to this ability and potential, he would be a HOF lock right now,and
When Lebron was first coming into the League, he shoulda been given the title "The Next Lamar Odom",

Thats the crazy thing....Lamar should have been Lebron, way  before Lebron became LeBron!

Lebron and Odum are similar but to say if Lamar lived up to his potential he would be similar to Lebron is false. Lebron is a versatile player with more guard skills than forward skills. Lamar is more of a forward. And even though Lamar is a skilled passer for a big man, I think you are vastly underrating Lebron's court vision. The closest successful player I would compare him to would be Charles Barkley (full potential).

  • You know my methods, Watson.
I don't know...it's hard for me to hate any Laker more than Kurt Rambis.
