I've watched every game this year. Last night was the first night since he had the procedure on his kneee that he looked remotely close to the Pierce I am used to seeing.

He was doing those back step elbow jumpers
He had some decent lift on his jump shot
He took it to the hole a little more.

Just looked better than he has in a long while. It seemed that since that procedure he had almost zero lift or quickness.

He looked pretty good last night though. Anyone else think same?

I'm optimistic about this team.  Not only is Pierce looking better but I thought KG looked better last night.  He is starting to regain some lift and quickness also.  I think it showed with how much better our defense was last night. (granted LA didn't have Kobe.)

Pierce and Garnett both looked physicall better last night than I've seen them in a while. But its only one game, tonight will be interesting to watch.

I thought Pierce was moving better last night. Particularly off the ball where he was more active and quicker especially when changing directions. That is good to see.

I still think he has a long way to go though.

they mentioned during the game that the team didn't let pierce lift on his legs at all after the procedure until just recently - and that now that he's lifting again, that he told doc he was finally starting to get his legs back.

KG looked much better last night, particularly at the start of the game -- nice post moves, hit some tough shots, played solid D. I didn't pay as close attention to Pierce, but I recall the announcers saying that Doc said Pierce was starting to get more lift; a little more spring in KG's step, and Pierce getting back to driving the lane, will add lots to this team.

Just noticed that I'm now at "Eddie House" status ... bittersweet.

What do you think about KG last night?

He had a lot more lift than I've seen in a while, though he was completely gassed in the end (in not many minutes).

I thought Garnett looked better too. I thought a lot of the difference was mental rather than physical. Just being more aggressive. More confidence in his body. More willing to initiate + take contact. To bang in the post on either end. To go inside and try to get something.

Yeah I saw that too, you could tell the C's came to play last night from the start.

Last night was the first game in a while that reminded me of the potential this team has. Hopefully they can build on it.
