Last night I know Tony was getting his calf massaged but did something happen to him. I don't recall him playing in the 2nd half last night, any word on him? If he is injured and cant go tonight could we see a Nate sighting tonight? I really hope so I want him to get a game under his belt before we go into Denver.. Well it would probably be better if he watched film on us but I WANNA SEE HIM PLAY! but if anyone has an update on either subject I will be grateful thank you!

Tony got injured last night, tweaked an ankle or something.

Nate is doing his physical in Boston.

please danny...don't re-sign tony allen this summer.  watching his contract run out can't come quickly enough.  the only "potential" he has is the propensity to be injured...

Meh, he'll be available to us for cheap using our bird-rights on him. A no-brainer for a resign as far as I'm concerned. We don't have much resources to fill out our roster.

Maybe a sign and trade is possible.

He is a good sell high option given how well he has played this season - but hey, if he does not cost much to bring back for a year, why not?

...because he's awful and he can't be depended on.  whether it's stupid plays at the wrong times or the fact that he gets injured when someone breathes on him.

I've seen enough of Tony Allen for 10 lifetimes...

I will happily take him back as our fifth wing on a short, near minimum deal ($2 mil or less for two seasons).

If he is our third wing, we are in trouble.

TA was the only guy hitting the offensive boards when he was playing last night. Plus a put back or two and good defense. He's good to have on the team.

No we wasn't. Four other players had offensive rebounds, two of them had more offensive rebounds than tony.

Tony will be cheap and fine for a second-third string or in case of emergency. He obviously won't become a better player because he'll never have a jump shot, but he's not worthless.

agreed, if he needs to be put into trade send him away but if he can be had for cheap i'd keep him just for defense

I hate to ever saw that something injury-related is a blessing in disguise but from a rotational standpoint, doesn't this injury makes things easier for Doc with Nate coming in?
