The only reason I brought up his defense at all was because of an earlier post in the thread about why there was so much negativity about Nate's game on the board.
Well his defense isn't really the issue there.

Nate's a punk, who cared more about getting attention in New York than winning.

I just hope we can harness the crazy for a few extra playoff wins.

I'm usually at the front of the firing squad on the character issues as well.

Sad to say, the mess of rooting for Marbury for two and a half months seems to have immunized me to getting worked up about that from a personal standpoint, at least (it certainly didn't prove bringing in crazy guys to be any less dangerous).

Every time I've been asked about Nate or someone like him character-wise over the last year, my reaction has been "Well, we welcomed Marbury, so whatever, right?"

An odd feeling to feel so desensitized about it.

LOL strange how a vaseline eater can lower your standards.

I rooted for Vin Baker for a long while too, *sigh*.

That game was too tense and physical at the end. I'm not going to sleep for another hour.

My vote is for Mighty Mouse.  Or Nate Dog.  Tp's to any good ideas for Nick at night.

Nate Dog is just solid.

The Dunking Freak also works ;D

How about Sparky?

Short for "Spark-plug," which is exactly what we're hoping Nate Rob will be for us.
Never forget the Champs of '08, or the gutsy warriors of '10.
