i think he had 20 boards in a game like a month ago. he then vanished into the ether again....

Me too.  But that doesn't mean that Thomas would be a bad pickup as insurance.  

Still, right now after the loss of three guards, we could probably use a little more depth at the 2/3 than at the 4/5.

not sure why but i have always liked him. i think he usually played well against us. i would absolutely give him a shot.

Kenny Thomas was playing fairly well earlier in the season ... but I don't trust him, at all, to be reliable contributor.

So, I don't want the Celtics to pursue him.

I can't argue with this. Why not? You never know what can happen. The Cs should explore all options before deciding how to approach their final two spots. Could he be any worse than Mikki Moore?

Unless the player is a significant upgrade over Shelden Williams than I don't have interest in signing another big man.
