What is wrong with you?  Of course the C's don't want him. He is more damaged goods than KG and is only good when he dominates the ball.

Didn't he say that he preferred to sign with the cavs or lakers if ever he was bought out? I kinda remember seeing that in one of the trade threads in the forums. But yeah, if he agrees to play here for cheap then it might be a possibility.

HaHa Ive never seen that one. I hear ya but he's supposedly healthy now and only 30 with something to prove. Low risk imo.

I'd need to have him workout for the brass to see if he's healthy. If we move TA as part of another deal I am all for bringing him in for the vet min.

What's wrong with me? I'm realizing that we are going to get no impact players from this trade season wheen we really needed a substantial boost. TMac isnt the answer but I think his impact would be more apparent than whatever Nate Rob will bring to the table.

He has mentioned interest in going to Cleveland or LA if he is bought out but I bet with his history with Doc (having his career years under him) that he would come here. If he does end up on those two contenders watch him turn into a deadly scorer off the bench and come back to me and ask me what is wrong with me.

He did but I am thinking we would have a shot based on his connection with Doc.

The difference is we depend on Ray to produce. If we signed T-Mac it would initially be in a vet min end of the bench role. If he gives us anything it's great. If not he's taking up the open roster spot we have. Either way no risk.

That's the thing I haven't seen him. That is why I am intrigued. Reports from his trainer Tim Grover is that he is healthy and can be very effective.

Just put it into perspective. We are talking about a potentially small pool of players who can be bought out. If we have a roster spot open, who else can we get who can provide as much as a healthy McGrady for 15 to 18 minutes a game? If he is REALLY healthy and recovered his role could even expand. The guy is only 30 years old.
